Ghouls are bound by living rule, their low leadership and no armour saves, they are really easily to get killed without the ability to revive them using magic. Aside from their poison attack, how do you guys use them in your games?
Anima Tactics - try it out!
Depends, sometimes I use a couple of small groups (5-6) on the flanks, just to pester and slow down flankers. And sometimes I use a unit of about 9-12 as a rearguard for my necrobunker, against flyers/ambushers/tunnellers or whatever. Against small units of hunters infiltrating your deployment zone, they usually do pretty well. Depending on what it is of course.
I generally use them to cause a wound or two on something with high toughness like ogres ( but no armour) or run them through terrain sot heefore out of sight, or maybe just as a screen because in 1000p + who gives a damn if a 40 point unit stops some black knights dying?
