Waywatchers march block and kill off opponents until they are weak enough to break. Dryads attack using flank advantages to cause fear and route opponents. The spellsingers cause havok the entire time using whatever spells are available, trying the best to cause terror with the magic. If possible they use magic to kill off war machines.

My vote is for the Vampire Counts.
With superior numbers and speed, they can reach cc quick and with enough units to make the Elves crumble.
In the magic phase it would be quite even, can't decide anything out of that.

    I Vote Vampire Counts

I agree with Da Mighty Camel here, I feel the numbers and Speed would swamp the Wood Elves, But a deciding factor could be who got the best of magic

    Aroooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I have to go Vampire Counts here, simply because I think that there's not enough foot troops to defend the spell singers, so some of them will probably die quickly, giving the advantage to those wacky wolf raising Vampire Counts.

    Vampire Counts

As much as I hate the undead armies, I'm going to have to go with Vampire Counts.

Their speed, along with their numbers, could easily overwhelm the smaller wood elf force. Of course, a lot of it depends on the magic phase, but seeing as the vampire counts army has four dispell scrolls...yeah...

    - i vote vampire counts

-they have slightly better magic, and far supierior speed and CC skills
Procrastination- hard work often pays off over time, but laziness always pays off now.
Indifference- it takes 43 muscles to frown, and 17 to smile, but none to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

    -Votewar 40K III= 1st place
    -Votewar 40k mini= 2nd place
    -Votewar fantasy 2= 2nd place

I originally was going to vote for the Vampire counts. It seemed like an easy decision. They had the numbers and what would probably be equal magic. However, I put more thought into the numbers to see how this would work out. Here is what I found Dryads have superior WS,S,T,I and more attacks. They have a higher leadership, they are immune to psycology, and have a +5 Ward save. That means that they can kill more Wolves and will be able to last longer. If by some off chance they manage to kill enough of these unamored wolves they might actually win in combat resolution.

The waywatchers can deploy so close to the opponenet the Wolves will see a lot of march blocking. Plus the waywatchers should get a few chances to kill a Necro and if they don't they will definatly be able to take on some wolves.

So overall between WE ability to drag out this fight, the low ld of the wolves, and the superior combat abilities of the dryads I have to believe the WE will win, but it will be a real blood bath.

    I vote Wood Elves

    I vote Wood Elves.

    Dire Wolves-
    +Fast
    +Stronger on the charge
    -Horrible in drawn out combats
    -They have no armor
-In large groups they are very hard to maneuver
-Several large units will severely bottleneck their advancement

    Dryads on the other hand...

    +Have multible attacks
    +High toughness
    +Ward save
    +Fearless
    +Skirmish

10x Dire Wolves vs 16 Dryads

    Wolves Charge- 5x2 ranks
    5 Hits
    2.5 Wounds
    5+ Ward Save
    .825 models removed

    Dryads Attack- 5x3 ranks
    6.7 Hits
    3.5 Wounds

    1) Dyrads will be killing 3 a round a the wolves kill 1
    2) So Wolves lose outnumbering by 1 and by 2 wounds
    3) 1st Round- Wolves lose by 3

As the Wolves lose more and more models, their chances of winning combat fall futher and futher.

Then there is the speed. Wolves move mych faster than Necromancers, so the chances of successful Raise Dead/Vanhals Danse will be less due to the range difference.

All the while the Spell singers are trying to boost the dryads effectiveness, the Waywatchers will be plucking off the Necromancers and Flanking dire wolf units.

Dire Wolves are a supporting unit whereas Dryads are main attack/defensive units.
