Do you guys use you race's fluff when it comes to army composition?
Anyways I love fluff that is always one of the biggest factors in picking and an army for a game or even to start one.
But for me I also must like the models and the way an army can be used, I don't like they way some armies will only ever be used one way (eg HE cav, Empire/Dwarven Shooting lines etc).
But yes the main factor is always fluff, then I will go for my preferance. An example of this is my dwarven army, I have fluff on the site in stories (under Karag Dron) and I will try to aim it as a new and tradional hold. So one idea I've had is to make a few units of warriors into "Hazcal" units (Firey young warrior it means), and they will be given light armour and always lead by a thane (to show that they barely have any stubble on their chins). And plenty of other ideas too.
I dont play fantasy but i still use whatever fluff i have invented for organisation with my 40K armies.

"Errr do you mean run away?"
"Thats the one"</span>
"Oh man, look at that."
"Over there, by that river of boiling souls."
"Well I'll be damned... it's a Starbucks."

Fluff is definitly the biggest factor. If I do not find the army's fluff compelling than I have hard time focusing because I am dwelling on how it doesn't sit right.

If i was ever to write a fluff (i will) I would never write anything about that they cant take this or that. Like: "The Highborn made a wet willy on the Royal Hydra in the beastmaster stables. It went rampage and killed 5 hydra babies. The beastmasters would never let "The Highborn" use a hydra."
I always go differently in my army lists so limitating fluff would suck for me.
I like limiting fluff, so therefore my Dwarf army is a traditionalist army, so no war machines!!
But, since my fluff notes that they live in a volcanic area, they have a pet Dragon which acts like a Flame Cannon! Just my way of getting around that, hehehe
I dont see how anyone could play and army and not like the fluff.
