Im going to put together a Dust Goblin army.
Ill be using the Tomb Kings rules but convert undead goblins.
This is the 2000pts list im planning to do:
Destroyer of Eternities...270pts
Cloak of Dunes, Heiretic Jar...160pts
2 dispell scrolls...165pts
10 Skeleton Bowmen:
10 Skeleton Bowmen:
20 Skeleton Warriors:
Hand Weapons, Shields, Light Armour
Champion, Standard Bearer...200pts
4 Light Chariots:
Champion, Standard Bearer, War Banner...225pts
19 Tomb Guard:
Champion, Standard Bearer, Banner of the Undying Legion
Screaming Skull Catapult:
Skulls of the Foe...110pts
Casket of Souls:
My tactics will revolve around the casket, staying back peppering the enemy with bowfire and skulls from the catapult, forcing my opponent to advance towards the casket.
Then when they get to my lines I will move the infantry blocks fowards being supported by the uhsabti and chariots. The carrion re there to pick of any annoying warmachines and lone mages.
Thanx in advance for any feedback
You do realise that warhammer chronicles has an article about dust gobbos? Good army list, though. Try giving your Tomb King a chariot, to give your light chariots punch but keep him close enough to allow march moves (are tomb king skellies allowed to march or do they have to be close to the general or heirophant or something?). Keep your chariots out of the way of high strengh enemies.
Dust Goblin Ushtabi? What will they look like?
Would Carrion be undead Doom Divers?
Would undead wolves pull the Chariots?
What about an undead Dust gobbo Tomb King? Please, send me pictures!
Whats wrong with homicide?
naw, tomb kings canĀ“t march whatsoever. Oh, and iĀ“d also like to see pictures of this army. ^^
..I see skeletons crumble.
Tomb King can never march. I knew about the warhammer chronicles article, thats what inspired em to do the army.
Carrion will just be the standard carrion models, simpl because I already have some lying around.
The ushabti on the other hand will be sort of dust goblin totems, I will stack three on top of each other, the top will have some huge mask (not sure how Im going to do that yet though, ideas?) the middle one will then carry some large weapon. Hopefully all will work out fine and I will post pics as soon as the army is comlpete.
And on another note, the tomb guard are all going to be based on Night gobbos so will be minature grim reapers which will be cool.
And the chariots will be pulled by dire wolves
Thanx for the positive feedback, keep it up!
