What do you think will happen in "the end of warhammer". truely there cant be a end but what do you think will happen?
giant comet hitting the world of warhammer and killing all living.
chaos win there deamons can't actually be killed of course they win but then againn in the high elf book it hints about there phenix guard being immortal. If chaos kill everything what will they do when the whole world is swallowed in chaos poor khorne won't have any more skulls
I'd say, the developement of gunpowder will lead to ever more powerful weaponry and at some point someone is gonna invent the combustion engine and make a proper tank.
Magic can't really harm a tank (even one that is of a ww1 type technology) and empire will roll all over everyone at which point humans will win. Fin!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
Voor alle nederlanders:
The Dutch Legion
Shouldn't this be in the FB General forum?
Anyhoo, I'd say that the DoC flood the world, and the Empire falls in a massive flood of destruction, violence, and Amy Winehouse singles.
Just as it all seems bleak, the sole surviving humans of the Old World (Bretonnia, because let's face it, they wouldn't go near the Empire to do any actual fighting) hire the Dawn Killing Fields who sneak in an assassin who manages to kill off the favoured champion of the gods. With that, all four factions are left in-fighting, and Gotrek and Felix are able to waltz up to the Chaos Portals and seal them shut, allowing the Old Ones back in*, sealing the doom of Chaos FOREVER!
And we end with fluffy bunnies hopping merrily across sun-speckled meadows, frolicking gaily over the mounds where the sole surviving humans buried what's left of the DoC physical forms, and eventually the Empire will be rebuilt, and will focus on technology with nothing left to fight, and will build nuclear weapons, and destroy the world with them anyway due to their pointless in-fighting (see the DoC fate above).
My second cousin knows a guy who works for GW, and this is definitely what they have planned, after another (*cough*rigged*cough*) global campaign.
*Don't ask how that works, OK
are the fluffy bunny models in multi-part plastic or pewter? I've got my fingers crossed for plastic so I can finish my Watership Down themed army.
shutting down the chaosportal seems a like a good one Perhaps the old ones show up again or something.
Maybe a sudden, unexpected 6th spawning of slann mage priests :-) ( I would ike that, the dying race... but after thousands of years a new generation is born.. ) and those fella's shut down that portal or something 8-D
Technology will improve to the point where power armour and generic modification are a reality. Some twit will then invent Space Marines and it will all go tumbling down from there. Failing that, the Skaven overrunning the whole world seems pretty inevitable to me.
There was a red shirt, however, *cough* who told me that he heard that they plan to reveal the end in eight edition: our fish-headed overlords will rise from the seas and crush us all... before themselves dieing of suffocation (they can only breath underwater you know!).
the end of warhammer? Well most likely one for me is GW going out of business
Fluffwise though... Yeah chaos just slaps everything. Or maybe the 40k realm renotices this funny little world (rogue trade days) and turns it into some amusement park.
Or Sigmar is reincarnated as Chuck Norris, I don't even need to explain what would go on after that point.
Anyone find it funny that Cities of Death show the two worst combat armies in the game ... in combat!
as a matter of fact the idea that chaos is indestructible is wrong all you need to do is kill anything that worships the chaos gods and get more people worshiping the good gods to the point where the good gods are more powerful. obviously killing everything that worships the chaos gods in next to impossible.
also many years ago the high elves tried to close the northern gate but by then chaos had grown too powerful but in theory it is possible to try it again when and if chaos becomes less powerful
so all we need is another Magnus the pious
the idea the sigmer might return is a good idea
