In accordance with my ''new'' BoC army book ''6.5'' (http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...aos-6-5-a.html) my mates and i have began looking into a few rules (which we will edit as house rules) within 7th ed that simply make no sense.
The first example is 'Regeneration'
Changed from 6th ed to 7th, regen became a regen ''save'', which i can only assume was done in order to speed up tournament play. Consequently, we have decided to take it back to its roots, with you being able to regenerate wounds lost in the previous turn on a 4+ at the start of the next turn (IFF the model wasnt killed outright in the previous turn). Makes sense, rules wise and fluff wise.
There was another, but i forgot
Just wondering what house rules anyone else has come up with, either as additions, alterations, or removals from the current 7th ed rules?
Discuss and enjoy!

in my group we play wher every model has 10x amount of wounds. so swordman would have 10, ogres 30 etc. Much more realistic and fun. We also play where instead of rolling dice you can choose to take the average. For example if you have 10 archers hitting on 4s you can choose for 5 to hit. we also play without point limits. they just ruin the fun. we just play with how many models we have. so normally who wins is who can buy the most. these are all great rules...
I've edited out your last sentence. I can only assume this is sarcastic, and not at all the point or the idea of the thread. Please keep future comments constructive. Thank you, Phoenix.

Just thought id note some more changes we have made:
- Fliers do not trigger goblin fanatics for flying within 8" of the goblin unit, only when they land (i.e at end of movement or when going in for a charge)
- Regen is now taken at the end of each phase for wounds lost that phase.
- 2 x US3 or US4 units attacking a unit in the Flank get the Flank bonus.
Can I ask what you making your version of the book is supposed to do? The rules wont be reckognized, it seems like a wasted effort.
As for the guy who said they play with dice or points limit, that sounds so not fun. There would be no balance or luck in it. The luck of the dice makes the game fun as it turns the fights into gambles, you could be ruined by anything if the dice say so.
