I was just looking on line about the fimirs because I have HQ from back in the day. I was reading some forms. somebody said there was a fishmen army. I tryed to look up more about that armie but there is nothing. I would like to see some figures of what they look like. I would also like to now when they were introduced and when they left. There tactics of fighting. like to find out where to buy them and can I play them in the new edition of WHF.
I never heard of a "fishmen" army. Only defunct force i know that used to have an armybook are the Chaos Dwarfs. The Kislev used to have a sort of mini-armybook but they are no longer legal.
The Zoat's used to be in both 40k and FB, but they where written out a long time ago, and they were more lizard than fish and they never had a stand alone armybook nor a lot of models.

Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

this is were I heard about this unit or army Warhammer Fantasy: What happened to the Fimir? - Giant in the Playground Forums and this is the only picture I can find Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting
Chupayotl is rumoured to have inhabitants that come ashore that have rows of shark like teeth in the new lizardmen book. Some food for though.
I belive the Slann may have once been a seperate army with crazy units that have all dissapeared. While Lizardmen lived in the Oldworld carverns among other places.
for all intensive purposes Dogs of War are pretty much extinct these days. The Halflings seem to have gone along with them dissapearing into Empire fluff.

A fishman army would be cool, but that miniature in that link looks pretty bad too me. I have been following warhammer as best as I can since about 94 I think, and I have never heard of a fishman force past or present.

The Fimir are a race of cyclopean quasi-lizards/demons. IIRC, they came to the world around the time of the Slann.

A Google search for "Fimir" will turn up a few attempts at Fimir lists/army books.
