So, I am an experienced warhammer player and am getting itchy feet again! I want to start another army but am unsure which one to do.
I have already played and sold: empire, high elves, ogres, and I currently am trying to get to grips with lizardmen. The thing is I'm not in love with my lizards at the moment and so may replace them.
Generally I don't like evil armies but possible armies I have been considering are dark elves and warriors of chaos.
The thing is, I normally prefer balanced armies, ones that compete in all phases, however I also loath painting, so a small model count would be good. I also prefer my armies to be resilient.
Given this criteria, which army would you suggest I do? Maybe even one I haven't considred.
The other thing is, that any army I play I would prefer to be competitive. Can chaos mortals be competitive?
considered daemons? can be customised to dominate a certain phase, or be competent in all of them
warriors can have a low armycount, they are not very high in the competitionlist which is unusual since its quite a new book,
magic is good
very tough in combat.
with artillery, Scary but unreliable at best ( they have the hellcannon, its a living beast that can shoot but if it gets the chance he kills his crew and goes off to fight instead)
hear thegreat1, deamons may be for you :p a real powerhouse, can be with only few models.
