Now that monstrous infantry gets stomp attacks, which army's monstrous infantry has gotten the largest buff from 8th? have Kroxigor gone from zero to hero, or are Ushabti now worth the once exhorbitant price one would need to pay for them?
Which armies/monstrous infantry have benefitted the most from 8th edition? And how have the synergies changed for each army and it's monstrous infantry?
Does anyone have any predictions for a themed monstrous infantry army that will take us by storm? Or perhaps which monstrous infantry we will see on a regular basis in 8th that we seldom if ever saw in 7th?
Looking forward to your opinions, playtesting knowledge, and any mathhammer that anyone would like to share.
Thanks in advance, Beardy Bearderson.
they werent rare in 7th, but in 8th trolls will see alot of action i doubt it not. I have a rather large unit at the ready now and i cant wait to deploy them in battle.
- Since these guys are the cheapest monsterinfantry, the ogre kingdoms core troops should have a ball.
- Not sure if they fit in your list, but i think brettonia will have a great ally in these rules for their Pegasus Knights.
- The stomping also saved the Greater Daemons, without it i think they would have been reduced to just another medium choice. Now theyre still rock hard.
- and the Bone giant with unstoppable assault. It depends a bit on the errata ofcourse, but he seems to get a ton of attacks
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
yeah i have thinked about making a ogre list because they get one s 5 attack on i 1 after every normal attack and they can fight in 2 ranks and get full attacks that means bulls get 18 a on 6 guys with no upgrades that only awesome!
