    Fantasy Abbreviations

So I came across a 40k Thread with all the Abbreviations for the game and found it very useful.

Unfortunately my search didn't provide me with any such thread for Fantasy.

If anyone is aware of one could they post it here.

Also, Moderators please feel free to close this thread if there is such a thread and kindly direct me towards it.

    Thanks

    More Rules abbreviations:
    LoS - Line of Sight
    CC - Close Combat
    DD- Dispel Dice
    PD- Power Dice
HW&S- Hand Weapon and Shield combo
    KB - Killing Blow
    AP - Armor Piercing
    CR - Combat Resolution
SCR - "Static Combat Resolution" the culmination of your Banner, Ranks, and any other bonuses you get aside from Charging and Kills
    IF - Irresistible Force

    The armies are usually abbreviated:

BoC - Beasts of Chaos / Beastmen
    Bret - Bretonnia
    DE - Dark Elves
    DoC - Daemons of Chaos
    Dwarfs - they're short enough
    Emp - Empire
    HE - High Elves
    LM - Lizardmen
    OK - Ogre Kingdoms
    O&G - Orcs and Gobs
    Skaven - dirty rats
    TK - Tomb Kings
    VC - Vampire Counts
    WE - Wood Elves
    WoC - Warriors of Chaos

    Common Chaos Abbreviations
    MoK- Mark of Khorne
    MoN- Mark of Nurgle
    MoT- Mark of Tzeentch
    MoS- Mark of Slaanesh

EotG - Can also be the Lizardmen 'Engine of the Gods'

These are common enough in battle reports. Other abbreviations have been faced out as the game progresses, or are more army specific and would require you to get to know them on their forums. I've been here for a while, so I take a lot of the abbreviations and terminology for granted. Never be afraid to ask what a certain abbreviation means- usually people will answer you in their next post. Some people abbreviate things their own ways, so even the vets may need an explanation. Normally though, someone will let you know what's going on. Don't worry about it too much.

    Did everyone miss;

    RAF = Rank and File

Or at least I thought it did...?

Most of the other abbreviations seem to have already been covered.

Thank YOU! This has been driving me crazy. RAF = rank and file, also Royal air force makes sense, I saw it on a thread about bretts.

Anyway rep added to all who contributed!
