I was playing Shogun 2 last night and it occurred to me it might be the perfect engine for creating a Warhammer Fantasy computer game! It already supports hundreds (if not thousands) of units in a battle at a time, calculates break tests, warmachines, and all sorts of stuff.
So, how about someone from games workshop get to work on a mod or something eh?
You are allowed to create mods for games.
There's already a GW game simmilar to it - its called battle march.

Ya, battle march is an expansion of a game called Mark of Chaos. It's pretty good. It especially does a good job of dealing with the unit formations and facings. And you can get for pretty cheap off amazon. I think its worth buying.
There is also the good old(really old)shadow of the horned rat and the second one dark omen. But i state those again i was like nine years old when they were around.
Praise be to the Emperor!!
It was the learning curve for Shadow that made it so poorly received by so many. The game itself was fun but actually winning took alot of good decisions and a ton of luck.!They were great!!!!
