Many people are asking is Valten hard enough to take on Archaon. In his current released form I believe he would be able to hold Archaon up for a while but I think ultimately he would be defeated. However in his next incarnation which is due out next year Valten will be wearing Rune encrusted armour curtasey of the dwarves (+1 armour save with re-roll and a 4+ ward save) in addition he will ride an elven steed which will be a direct relation to Malhandir which will also have have Ithilmar barding and like Tyrion's horse will count as a ridden monster. Not only this but Valtens statline will be slightly improved with a weapon skill of 7 and an Initiative of 6.
In the Storm of Chaos campaign the seige of Middenhein will feature heavily although it is believed Archaon will not be leading this seige instead this will be entrustedd to the Slaaneshii chaos lord Stykar the Gloried and the beastlord Khazrak One Eye.
Not only this a slayer cult army will feature (though this is well known) with a certain engineer from the Gotrek and Felix novels as a special character. A Black Orc army will be included in the campaign.
Basically life sucks, there is only war and you're probably gonna get eaten by Tyranids, have fun.
IS that Slaaneshi champion the one they were talking about in WD when Hordes of Chaos came out? I beleive the bulk of the Slayer army is going to attempt to break the seige at Kraka Drak. If not at Middenheim, where will Archaon be? Why isn't he the center of the fight?

Where did you find this out? The stuff about Valten sound cool, I knew he was going to be upgraded again and have a horse like Tyrion's but the stuff about his armour and stats is new.
As for Archon, maybe he's going to head straight for Altdorf? the city that has been besieged many times but never fallen. BTW has Praag fallen yet? If not I think this will be the horde's first stop.
The slayer engineer? Malakee (sp?) Cool, I liked him in the stories. Also I know that the Slayer King, Ungrim Ironfist's son will be leading the new slayer army. And there will be a kind of Slayer fanatic (I've heard they'll be weilding some sort of ball and chain), what do you know of this?
