8.Use snidy tricks
10.Imagine you are your army general and somehow you win
11.Blow your opponent to bits with guns
12.None of the above,(if so please say what you do)
I want this to be a fun thread so enjoy.By the way mine would probably be great units.I play dwarfs.
Itchy Richy I know your new to LO, so this post really belongs there---> http://www.librarium-online.com/forums/fb-armies/
I can tell that you play dwarves by the numbers 2,4,5,11 hehe
I win a games with my lies and deceit. Oh yeah, I on occasion may play fairly !! (jokes)
To be honest, I only win when I am having fun. Whenever I feel pressured or unconfortable I make bad
decisions... and therefore I lose.

FB Rules help is not really the location for a thread such as this.
To answer your question, I personally win my games by knowing my own and just as important, my enemies army better than they do and using that knowledge to stack the odds in my favour.
Unfortunately, having returned to Fantasy after a long hiatus, this means that my knowledge is not yet sufficient and as such I'm not really winning all that often. .

New 40K missions here.
You have to know your opponent's force well and choose your fights wisely, knowing when the odds are in your favour of winning. Deployment is very important... I like the flank charge tactic with two units quite close together. And the anvil, maneovering is the most important part of the game, as it's one of the little parts of the game that isn't decided by a dice roll! At the end of the day, it's more luck that will win but by swinging the odds in your favour there's more chance of the dice gods smiling on you .
by knowing how to use your army to cover whatever situation your opponents army poses and at the same time casuing him problems
It still flusters me that someone could read the WHFB rules and come to the conclusion that they need obscenely powerful characters and that units that can't go toe-to-toe with Chaos Knights of Khorne or Savage Orc Big 'Uns with spears aren't worth taking.
Does your opponent spend all his points on some retarded Chaos Lord or Vampire? Feed him a champion and then go to town on his unit with flanking supporting units. Does he have a single prize unit that he expects to win the battle for him? Take some extra artillery. Most cheesy armies are easy to take out if you see them coming.
There's also your secret weapon: STOP playing with them. If someone purposefully misinterprets rules, browbeats other players, et cetera, boycott them. Sometimes, they'll catch on and start behaving themselves. Then you'll have a chance of winning. :shifty:
1) Use supporting units if your army has units whose death won't panic your main units.
2) Protect your flanks.
3) Feed champions to powercharacters, even if you have a better character in that unit(he/she should be killing off the normal troops to help force a break test).
4) Deploy your troops in a functional battle line instead of trying to match up units with your opponent.
5) Roll well. :ninja:
thats sound advice -- sont banzai your general with his - thats what he wants !
