I borrowed this from Druchii.net and changed it a little. Going to play against my ratbastard friend tomorrow.. Tell me what you think!
ok it isnt bad, is the noble going with a unit of dark riders?
also, 2 rbts might be a bit much, because for 200 points you could get a nice block of troops, but the rest I like, looks like one of my lists with a few modifications......
My noble wasnt going with a DR unit. on his own, and he did pretty well. Killed a skaven general and killed warbanner in process.
Yeah, i should probably get away those RBT's and put in like a mainstay unit with lots of Spearmen, so it can hold and let other troops flank the unit its being attacked by.
honestly if you were planning on using MSU then dont bother with a mainstay unit, the idea of MSU is that you're oponent wont be able to to get to grips with you're army until he has been hit in the flnaks so hard it isnt even funny, other than that it looks good, just remeber to use those dark riders to full potnetial, they are REALLY deadly.
Actually, I won with that army. The RBT's and the crossbowmen worked out real good. One of the clanratregiments (thinned down) charged into my crossbowmen and lost the combat. Another regiment got Soulstealer on it, fled, 2 other regiments saw it. Atleast 350 points off the table there.
I'll probably ditch the RBT's next time and take 2 more small units.
