I've been playing WFB for quite a while now, and think it is about time to start a third army. Currently, I play MSU Dark Elves and Slaaneshi Chaos, and honestly can't decide what I should attach myself to next. I've been thinking on this for several months, yet can't come to any kind of conclusion. Evidently, I'm wanting to stay away from other races of elves and anything that would play similar to the two armies I already have. Asides from that, I'm perfectly open.
Empire is nice and new...

I'll second the Empire. If I wasn't so skint I'd start them myself
If i were you id go for something totally different too the other two- different tactical options/challenges, and something totally new to paint!
erm..im going to suggest Dwarfs, Empire or Tomb Kings
PLAN CLAN MAN!!
He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man- S. Johnson
Theobold is right in that those armies would play very differently from what you've got now. The new empire army has some really nice builds at its disposal, if you don't mind the utterly average leadership.
If you like the evil armies, then how about Skaven? That's certainly different from DE and HoC with its super cheap units available.
Empire would be cool, but i have a feeling a few people may just onto that band wagon...
how about Dogs of War??? They have some really good troops, and you could mix some Ogre kingdoms in as well. They can also be shaped to what ever playing style you want, as in shooting, CC magic or any mixture. I dont have any myself, but the only drama i has when i wrote DOW lists was the compulsory BSB (paymaster) you had to take, coz i wanted that extra wizard. However, you can just make a Wizard your general in less that 2k, then add that fighting character later on.
Also, their 'Army books' are available to download from the gw website, so there's no expense just to check em out (assuming you havent)
Then as another bonus, you could use you DOW units in your other armies as well, for plenty of cool combinations.
Just a thought, Tim
