for this conflict coming up i have discarded all other themes and gone for an all out erranty war army.
paladin = 119
paladin (bsb) = 131
viture of duty
damsel = 150
6 realm = 168
8 errant knights = 206 (general)
9 errant knights = 221
6 errant knights = 141
7 errant knights = 161 (damsel, bsb)
5 mounted yeomen =82
5 mounted yeomen =82
i still have 47pts left what should i get and what do you guys think about the army??? thank you.
Id drop the trebuchet, as you have nothing to defend it. Two flyers would make that go away real fast. Or even a unit of scouts, a tunneling team, some Dark Riders/Ellyrian Reavers, etc.
Otherwise, it looks very good =) . Id say stick another 5man unit of mounted Yeomen for the extra pts. Great for flanking and setting up charges.
i was just thinking that, i have never used it and don't know how well it does and i thought about it....so i have edited my list to acomadate the new yeomen but know i have 47 pts left over what sould i get???
This army would be incredibly easy to beat. A unit of fast moving skirmishers or fast cavalry could lure the knights into a charge,then run,leaving you hoplessly out of position for any coordinated attack,and if you pursued you probably wasted the next turn of your high points unit on reforming ranks.
i'll just use a staggered formation then and use my fast cav to bloack/tke out theres, plus i don't need a totally coordinated attack and when i break through there wont be much to turn round for anyway....
Does anyone have any other advice tactic wise....any and all help will be well helpful.
P.S. What do you think is better 5 yeomen or 4 knight errants to add to a unit to make it nine?
P.S.S Can anyone think of another name to call the realm knights of my army as having them named that sort of defeats the purpose of an errant army?
