Hi, I am an orc player who is going to start a new army. I have been playing for 3 years so i'm fairly experienced.
-High toughness/ strengh
-Good close combat
-Fast, mobile troops
-Good offensive/ defensive magic
-Good fighty characters
I don't like:
-Slow units (like dwarves)
Cult of Slannesh Dark Elves, High Elves, Wood Elves and Vampire Counts also appeal to me.
All types of Chaos, Dwarves, Empire, Ogre Kingdoms and Tomb Kings are completly out of the question.
I love the mini for Lizardmen, Bretonnians and all elf armys. So what would be the best choice for me? Thanks in advance.

With all of the Armys you mentioned your gonna be very fast(except lizardmen).
So which army do you think looks the coolest and would you like to play something similar to O&G or something different?
thrax hit it on the dot, I personally like DE cause thats what i play, although they all have t 3 and most have s3 too they have lots of monsters hydra, manticores, and dragons to name a few and these have t5 or 6 i think and str 5 or higher along with the executioners which have WS 5 too along with most other elven elites As for goodness in CC dark elves would be the best of the elven trio for that IMO with the above said monsters and plenty of flanking options they can negate ranks and get you that extra combat res. like all elves everything has a movement of 5" or more making it a very moblie force. skimishers is the one thing that DE lacks with only harpies and shades in that category. DE's magic is very potent if you go with a level 4 suported with one or two level 2s they also have a good + 1 DD item if magic isn't your thing. Although if magic is a very high prority of yours you should go with Lizardmen or HE. While DEs charaters are not vampires or chaos lords in terms of pure killeyness with the right items there nothing to laugh at but unless you put your lord on a dragon it probally wont tear through units(but ill let players with more experiance with dragons expand on that)
All in all DE might be what your looking for and dont hesitate to PM me if you have any questions:yes:
Thank you both for your posts
I would like to play something a little bit diferent to O&G. But I think Lizardmen look the best and I love magic and skinks, but I also have a thing for heavy cavalry. I already have the book for Bretonnia that I bought along with Beasts of Chaos on Trade Me (New Zealand version of eBay) and 1000 points of High Elves that I used to collect but stopped because I took to long to paint them and hated their play style but now that I have more time I might take them up again. Dark Elves are an option. I want a Cult of Slaanesh Dark Elf army because I think the Lore of Slannesh is the best lore of magic in the game but Slannesh wizards are so bad that it gets neglected and Dark Elves mages are much better. I am starting to lean towards Lizardmen

If you want to win easy and be bored choose bretonnians.
Its all about what you want to do, but you could quite easily do it with lizardmen using no saurus (apart from cavalry)...
Skink armies are evil, but if anyone ever complains you can point out they're not tough or fighty.
Once more for the masses: Lizardmen are not a slow army.
The only unit type that doesn't move six inches or more is the only unit type that doesn't have to.
I have decided to go for a Lizardman army. Thank you to everyone who posted.
