Help with menoth or khador

OK, I was thinking of either khador or menoth. right now i'm looking at a few models that I'll post up:

Menoth
as for warcaster i really don't know... either kreoss, harbringer, or severius
with the warjacks i'm pretty certain
I want to get the reckoner, devout, and castigar.

Khador
I was mainly looking at karchev most likely
of course i'll have a couple berserkers (maybe one will be drago) and a devastator.

what do you guys think?

It really depends on your play style. I tend to use Severius. He's extremely squishy but has some nice spells and tons of focus. I haven't played Kreoss but he always seemed a bit more physical than Severius.

The only Khador caster I've played against is Sorcha. She's a pretty well balanced caster.

i recomend high exicutioner reznick if you are planning to field lots of jacks. amon ad raza is a beter jack caster but reznic has a spell called hate monger where he gains +3 str, +2 arm in melee, and flying steel( d3 attacks each round this spell is cast) his sword is pretty brutal with a p+s of 14 and purgation(additional dice against models with an upkeep spell or animus on them) he also turns warrior models he kills into wracks. he works especially well against cryx because he has a spell that can block spells from being cast by the target model and he can attack incorperal models.

on a side note, if you are running a protectorate list with out high paladin vilmon, then you are missing a prime oppurtunity to frustrate the bejesus out of your opponent. vilmon can give up either his movement or action to trigger an ability called imervious wall where he becomes immune to everything but spells and if he is in base to base with a paladin he cant be thrown or slammed. if used correctly vilmon can effectivly remove a heavy warjack from the game just by standing in front of it and going into impervious wall. if the warjack tries to move it takes a freestrike wich will probably fill at least one row of damage. the easiest way to get rid of him is a throw but this can be prevented if he is in base to base with a paladin.

I've seen that Vlad is particularly nasty for Khador, with a Jack and Man o' war heavy army he is terrifying as he can be ramming these units down your throat turn 2/3 which is very fast as most have move 4!

If you want a scary assault army you can't do better than Vlad and a bunch of hard hitting stuff he can shepherd across the table.

I think painting large flat areas of white is a thankless chore, go Khador! =)

Khador is a more, in your face, stick it to you, and kick your corpse to the curb kind of army. I like that kind of army. The POM requires alot of management skills while Khador you can just shove down your opponenets gullet and watch them choke on the Doomreavers. I prefer Khador of course.
