hey all i recently got into hordes a while a go and I played a guy in a fun local tourney. anywyas he was using an infantry machine amry of cryx, by the way this is 350 points. He was using goreshade , bane knights, comdine,skarlock,2 pistol wraiths and some guy who can curse me. anywyas i could not find a suitabale way to deal with the bane knights their ability to move 3 after one dies, is absolutly amazing. on top of that they are weapons masters and make my armour -2. how do I beat these guys.

Oh sorry I play trolls but I was wondering just for any faction hordes or warmachine how people deal with bane knights.

Here are some basic strategies to deal with bane knights, just remember that if you do engage them in close combat expect to take some losses/ lose attacks because of banes shifting in or out of combat with your unit. Shoot them from short range to thin out their numbers. Use area of denial spells/if move take dmg, one example is murder of crows template from the old witch this way your opponent has to think if we wants to risk moving and taking damage. If possible but +def buffs or units with high def to engage bane knights. almost all cryx units event the elite ones have crap attack values. bank knights are no exeption with a 6attack so anything with def 14 or higher will give you better odds to not taking damage in melee. Did warmachine rules FAQ ever answer the whole berserk vs. shadowshift which triggers first? |
