750 Slaanesh Horns of Bull list
Ok, if you know about the pincer or horns of the bull maneouver then you will understand how this little list is supposed to work. This is the list:
190 GEN Char: Chaos Sorcerer, lev 2, 2x Dispel Scroll, MOS (in slaaneshi chariot)
265 Core: 5x Chosen Knights of Slaanesh, MOS, Standard.
165 15x Marauders, light armor, shield, standard, Banner of Wrath
130 Chariot of Slaanesh, MOS (with General/sorcerer).
In theory this is how it works - marauders hold the center and use bound magic missile (Banner of Wrath) to harm those who approach.
Chariot on one side and Chosen Knights on the other - both of these get flank charge on command unit of enemy and then marauders finally square off against command unit.
Considering the points, what do you think?
Im not sure having your General in a Chariot here would be the best idea. Its a lot of points in one thing. If you insist on it though, just watch out for Cannonballs, etc...
Im not sure how well the Marus will fair, any chance you could get a small Chaos Warrior unit (10 or 12) in their place, still with the Standard though?
Heh Deceiver, thanks for the suggestions, following is the list i used last night in a mega-battle with my friends. I played this chaos list paired with 750 goblins against 750 forest spirit and 750 lizards for a marginal victory.
144 GEN Sorcerer, Lev 2, Power Stone
265 5x Chosen Knights of Slaanesh, MOS, Standard
212 10x Chaos Warriors, Shields, Standard, Musician, Banner of Wrath
Basically, the knights proved very useful and devastating - magic was totally worthless in this game - i took lore of fire (fireball, double strength fireball) plus the magic missile from the Banner of Wrath - believe it or not, i was unable to get a single spell of which was not dispelled (forest spirits had cluster of radiants for extra DD) and the strength of the banner MM was easily saved against with ward (so much for flammable). Anyways, despite losing most of the goblins, we managed to kill stegadon (gobbo bolt thrower) and reduced treeman down to one wound, knights killed 3 treekins. Warriors never saw combat nor did sorc - just blasted away innefectually with the Banner of Weak. Fun game though!
To make the list better and not waste unnecessary points on magic, I really need to get rid of the power stone on the sorc and give him power familiar for extra P and D dice! I just don't know where the heck to get the points - i absolutely need chosen on the knights but they are so expensive I cant aford Jack - i was thinking of getting rid of one chosen for total of 4 but they would prove poor in CR and i dont really have pts to support them unless i can scrounge up points for some Mtd Daemonettes and one unit of warhounds.
I am fairly confused about how to fix this list though -- ideas?
