I play in a warhammer club with more then 300 members so i get to fight a wide variaty of different armys. Usually i dont speak with the players before the "fight night" so im trying to compose an all-round army. Here is an army i thought would be able to fight vs. both ranged and cc armys. Plz comment if u have any ideas for improvement.
Deamon 300 (this guy is ment for killing high armor units such as knights)
Blade of ether
Master of mortals
Exhalted Champion (this guy goes with my knights to boost their killing capabilities)
Sorcerer (this is just a scroll caddy)
Chaos knights x 4
Marauder horsemen x5
Chaos warriors x 12
Chaos warriors x 12
Mark of Slaanesh
Chaos hounds x 17 (these will be devided into 3 small units to shield my knights and warriors from hooting)
Marauders x 24 (the scroll caddy joins these guy)
furies x 6
In future, please do not post individual points costs of units that have no upgrades. - GN

300 members!? Lucky you.
As for the list, it looks pretty good. Generaic as you said to take on a bit of everything. Only thing i would suggest is to loose some hounds and Foot Marauders and upgrade the Tusk Chariot to a normal Chaos one, they are quite a bit better.
"Marauders x 24
Give those guys hand weapon+shield. (Upd: and light armor of course )
Marauders win by static combat result. Besides, you want them to stay alive long enough for other units to flank
If you still want them to use flails, then devide them into 2 units of 13 with musician.
Also I suggest adding the 5th knight to the unit. Otherwise your character gonna be gunned down as he has no 'look-out-sir' and can be targeted by missile fire.
+ Chaos knights with Exalted champ hardly need a musician.
Consider flail/halberd for your Exalted too. His unit should charge and break opponents during the first round. 4 Str 7 attacks should do the job.
Hope that helps.

Ok thx for the advice guys. It was very helpfull to be honest
I agree. Warrious should be one unit. Four knights, easier to panic. I played a guy today with lots of units of 4. I was able to force a lot of panic tests. He passed all but one with undivided rerolls, but as the game wore on, I was able to pick apart the small units until none were left.
