ok i played a few practice games for my previus list at 1000pts (i just managed) counting my two charriots as having exalteds in the back. they rocked so heres a new list.
General:chaos lord 430pts
armour of damnation
exalted champion of chaos 260pts
axe of khorm
crimson armour of dargan
aspiring champion(Bs 165pts
Banner of wrath
2 dispel scrolls
12 chosen worriors 310pts
11 worriors 198pts
11 worriors 220pts
additional close combat wepons
6 warhonds 36pts
5 chosen knites 265pts
What do you thinkagainst majic hevy armies my best bet is to get into combat.
personally i dont think its worth taking a lord atm, as our heroes are now T5 we have even less reason, and exalted really shouldnt have trouble dealing with enemy lord characters. So the general i wouldnt bumped down to a exalted, slap on AoD and Sword of might, thats plenty of protection/Killing power.
I would either drop the BSB or give him banner of the gods, with one wizard your shouldnt be getting off that bounf spell, the itself needs abit more speed, some hounds and marauder horsemen would help with this.
Crimson armour of Dargan is a real waste as well, sadly half the time you use it the enemy will be within 12" of their general making it rather useless, i personally think you could be better off with collar of Khorne, Magic resitance 3 is damn handy when you have so little magic protection.
Other than that pretty good, i would maybe try and fit some spawn in, with so much infantry you need something to protect against fliers/scouts/skirmishers.
thanks i think i will probably go back to my previous list then because it basicly rectifys all the problems you have brought up thanks.
Well just glad i could help
