So Im a first time WHF player and I just picked up the battalion box and codex. Ive been doing some reading and I think I may need some help building an army.
So far I know I want it to be a 2250pt list
What I have right now:
Champion Of Chaos
And I want to run a combo of two tribes, Either khorne/Nurgle or khorne/slaanesh. Which would u recommend and why?
I would like to have a lord on juggernut in there somewhere (sry but Im a sucker for that model.)
This Is a list of characters that I would love to fit into my army I know they get exspenive very fast so there will be no way for them all.But just to put some names out there heres the list..
Khorne Lord on Juggernaut
Lord of Nurgle on mount
Chaos Champion of nurgle on foot
Khorne Chaos Champion on foot
Wulfrik the wonderer
The khorne character is not oonly a beautiful model but also an awesome close combat monster.
A decent starting list that would include some of the metioned models could be
exalted of khorne on jugger
maybe, but not necessarily with a magic weapon
sorcerer of nurgle on daemonic mount
the nurgle lore makes for an excellent scroll caddy, since the spells are rather cheap and the first spell in the list is awesome.
Knights of khorne to accompany the exalted
Preferably not Khorne, since frenzied infantry can easily be led astray
Works the same as warriors, and in a smaller battle they are actually quita hard
Dont remember if there are hounds in the batallion, but they are ace. Youll need hounds and/or marauder horsemen, espesially if your going khorne, since otherwise your knights will be baited, and your characters, knights and warriors are so expensive that in order to avoid being outmaneuvered you need som cheap expendable models to march block and direct charges.
If I were you Id start by building a 1000pts army and learn the game and also find out wich unit I like. If you look at this forum and at warseer.com there are a lot of listand strategies floating around.
Quite incoherent, sorry. Ill go to bed now..
Yea, I can understand that. so what would be a good 1000 pt starting list? the box does come with hounds and I already have a champion of chaos that i bought along with the battilion...
