    Warriors of Chaos 2000, first list

    This is an army list that im going to be trying for sometime and before I field it I would like some feedback.

    It's a small army which will require a lot of skill to play.

    concerning the warriors, I would give them an option to their shields, either an additional hand weapon or a halberd. It's nice to have when you feel that the shield isnt necessary. Gives them more of a fighting edge.

    The warriors are great anvil units and you must use the knights as hammers. Used right and you have big chances to oneround lots of enemy units.

    Do you want to run the sorcerers solo or un the units? Remember that all chaos characters have to challenge. A weak little sorcerer isnt one to go fighting against an enemy character killer.

    The Lord looks good. I like the Runeshield though. It robs the enemy of their best ways to kill my very expensive character. It's also very nice to send a Runeshield into a unit of Grave Guard or the like.

    The warshrine is cool. You can use it for a couple of tasks. One is to use it aggressively and the other is to use it defensively. The best Mark for aggressive use is the MoS. That way you can be sure you don't have any problems with fear or terror. The best Mark for defensive use is the MoT. That T6 4+ armour and 4+ ward is VERY hard to get through, and with 4 wounds it's just a very big block of concrete that stops whatever it's in front of. Very usefull for a small and elite army that can't afford to be encirkled.

    Almost everyhing in your army is frenzied. this is kinda cool, but I would recomend a few units of warhounds to block LOS.

    Also Tactic wise:
    yes i will be running my mage in alone but next to each other so if something charges out to fight them and one dies i have two more to blast away at them, but hopefully i can avoid this.
    I've played with additinonal hand weapons alot and i see the use of them but at the same price you could get 1 more str, so thanks for the advise.
    The marauders i add just to meet requirements but if they can get the charge they WILL kill.
    And with the extra point now running a 2250 lis i can pump up my possy of sorcerers.

    Also for a notice for anyone who cares i will be entering a conversion contest on the 28th with a chaos warshrine. Once im done painting it i'll post a pic. Whis me luck.

    I send 2 of my 4 units of chaos warriors with MoK and 2 hand weapons. Thats four attacks each!

    This is a good way to kill more, but at 4S. With my set up it is 3 attacks with 5S. Just in case im up aginst 6T so im more killy then more attacky. Thanks Though.

    I agree, halberds is the way to go mind you I have both in my army, simply because I assembled half of my 30 warriors with 2 weapons instead of shields, doh >.<
