Welcome to Librarium Online!
Everyone's come to know and love my fast DP list. I see it all over the place now to. I shouldn't take all the credit, lots of people helped me play test it for several months. However, here is my first varient to it. I wish I had the models to test it.
Here's a link:

Demon Prince of Tzeentch
Tendrils of Tzeentch
Fury of the Bloodgod
Blood Curdling Roar
I've added more point to this guy. He's great point denial and he lives 9 out of 10 games, so I had 20 points to spend, so I felt it was worth it to make him more deadly and make those 20 points hard to lose.
Exalted BSB of Tzeentch
Banner of the Gods
The game winner. It'll be interesting to see if I need him. Besides my knights the two big additions are unbreakable. If I can tone him down, maybe give him the Doom Totem instead, I can pick up the command on my knights again.
Sorcerer of Nurgle
Standard lvl4 supporter. Gives lvl4 1 more die, while buring dispel dice with 2 casting buboes.
2 x 5 Khorne Horsemen with flails
No need to explain.
5 Slaanesh Horsemen with spears and throwing axes (musician).
Gives some throwing ability and the spears make them respectable on the charge if need be. I might just go cheesy again and drop these guys for 10 naked marauders and 2x5 warhound units.
5 nurgle knights
Dropped the command, but think I don't need the banner for combat res. We'll see.
5 Tzeentch Knights
With the nerfing to nurgle a few months back I've wanted to test out tzeentch on the knights. Even saving 1 knight would be worth it and those rare games where it saves 2-3 or even more knights. And it saves 10 points. If they out perform my other unit, then I can save even more points.
Yup that's the difference. I dropped my dragon ogres and warshrine. Both great anvils. Now I got 4 terror causers, shooting(str5 stone thrower that can move and shoot, yesplz). It looks like a fun list. I'm dreading the day I misfire and make my DP miscast and blow him up, but that'd be awefully rare to do.
Maybe I'll charge with my knights and engage fast with the banner keeping them in combat while I work my cannons into flanking positions.
Let me know what you guys think. Like I said, I can't play test it(well maybe I'll proxy my demons), so if someone gets bored and wants to test it for me, that'd be great!
Nice list. Kinda curious how you run with your exalted and why you think he is a game winner. Have you ever considered dropping the prince for a regular sorc lord and fitting in another sorcerer(cost about the exact same points)? He is just more reliable and with better survivability in my opinion. I just cant seem to justify spending all those points on them but it would be great to hear why you like them.
Also, definitely can't go wrong with tzeentch on knights. One time I was down to the 2 ward saves on them and saved em both... it was a good day. Sill hard to say which is the best mark for knights they all seem pretty even for the point cost, and even dropping the mark and picking up another knight instead is a good option in my opinion

Nice original idea but the hellcannon will be behind your line and you risk shooting your own knights. The only way I see him being played is holding the side/rear of your army but even then, a movement of 3 is pretty bad. He can also make your wizards miscast but chances are really low.
Another question, how does your bsb survive against an empire army with two great cannons? The empire player I played against was a real sniper he hit stuff 3/4 of the times. Granted by turn 2 you could get into CC with the canons but you will still be facing 2-4 canon shots.
Well, #1 the list has 2 hell cannons.
#2 even in my all fast list I found me meeting most people half way. I did have a war shrine in my last list that never really got out paced. I'll be alittle slower to get to my opponents, but I'll have two strength 5 stone throwing monsters as well. I'm considering dropping the banner of the gods for a BSB on a steed with doom totem. Should have a bunch of points. Make my DP slaanesh saves more points and now I could be forcing a ton of leadership checks at -2 leadership.
#3 With al lthat magic and now shooting, I could force people to come to me.
The DP doesn't die. By investing more points into making your lord a DP, you are making it that much more of a point denial.
Shooting does hurt this list, but your DP has a 4+ ward. Just hang back and try to get his artillery with your horsemen. Or try to panic them with the hell cannon.
However, I think empire gun lines might be the only real difficult army for this list. I'm not going to change an all comers list because 1 army might have an advantage over it. You can say that about any list.
I agree, i dislike people who change thier lists on purpose to who they are fighting, it doesnt make sense if your gonna play in tournies.
I agree with Pinkus, i have now played my DP in 12 games and he hasnt died once, at most he has been reduced to 2 wounds. My DP ends up about 555 points which is 1/4 of your points being denied and on a good day, such as last sat, he can potentionally make his points back in one magic phase, swollowing a 22 Strong Temple Guard + Slaan + Scar Vet on turn 3. I would advise against changing him to MoS, im not at all sure about the Lore of Slaanesh it all just seems a bit lame compared to Tzeentch and Nurgle.
I love the warshrine and would advise everyone to try it and fit it in a list, unless of course you are going for 2 hell cannons.
Im not convinced with the Banner of the Gods BSB, i face almost all immune to psycology armies at my university at the moment and so the banner is useless to me but i do like the idea of having another flying terror causing unit to fly around with the daemon prince behind the enemy lines.
Although MoN was nerfed i still tend to use it on Knights at the moment especially mixed witht he Banner of Rage, the other set up i have used and works well is a MoT and Blasted Standard, 4+ Ward vs shooting will save plenty of Knights in the space of 2 or 3 games, i save this set up for when i run around 10 Knights though or a unit of Chosen.
I agree with your idea of dropping your MoS MH for 10 marauders and 10 hounds, although my hounds always die but usually they save one or two Knights.
I say go ahead and try it for a few games and you might begin to like this twisted lore.
Yeah, I traded my warriors a few months ago, that's why I can't play test it, but the itch to play my DP came back a lot sooner than I thought it would. Maybe I'll just proxy my demons.
The only thing that would change if I went with a MoS DP and Doot Totem is I'd have the points to give each of my knights back their standard and musician.
Does a DP suffer from psychology? Cause i am reading the book and i cant find it anywhere and i still can't believe my eyes!
As for giving standards and musician to knights, it isn't a bad idea at all!

Well he causes terror, so he's immune to fear and terror. He also rerolls panic checks, which with leadership 8 gives him a 92% success rate at that. Meaning besides getting the lore, slaanesh really does nothing for him.
But that 8% chance to panic hurts like a kick in the jibblies when it happens.
Thats why i asked! It sucks! They should have gave it an ASF like with the giant!
