    • I would break your Warriors into two units.
    • I would reduce your Knights to two units of 5 or 6.
    • I would remove the Champion from the Knight unit - and possibly also the Standard Bearer and Musician.
    • I would get some more Marauder Horsemen.
    • I would get some Warhounds.
    • I would give the Marauder Horsemen Flails or regular Spears -they have Frenzy, so they really shouldn't be throwing anything at the enemy; just hit them. Hard. In the face. Twice.
    • If you want Slaanesh Marauders, I'd give them Shields and Light Armour instead of Flails. The Flails are best combined with small units and Mark of Khorne to create a flanking/rank-reducing unit.
    • You might consider giving your Warriors Halberds as well as Shields - it gives them much greater versatility.

    Hopefully some of this helps, but remember: it's all my personal opinion. This isn't gospel!

    Your biggest problems are that your marks don't match your equipment, for example

    Slaanesh Marauders are best used as a combat res machine, 25 with shields, light armour, and full command are a solid choice

    Your Marauder cav with throwing spears, and Mark of Khorne conflict. They're are going to have to charge if they can see anything to throw at anyway. If you want khorne marauder cav give them flails

    Your Slaanesh marauder cav should be with flails and mus, for breaking small support units, baiting, redirecting and all those wonderful things that make warhammer great.

    Too be honest I think you've over equiped your Lord, but that is more of a personal opinion anyway.

    I think you need to spend time deciding on what roll you want each unit to provide and decide on that, what equipment will help them achieve it.

    You have too much rather unuseful equipment on this guy, there are a lot of much more effective magic items. I would give him the Axe of Khorne and Armor of Morrslieb or Axe of Khorne And Chaos runeshield, or Axe of Khorne, Enchanted shield and Collar of Khorne to give MR2 to the unit he joins.


    I am not fond of MoK, I prefer Nurgle generals, but that is not somethig you should change as everyone has his own play style.

    Also an exalted hero would be just as good and you would be saving points.

    Palanquins aren't really needed, they will do just as good on foot with a unit of warriors.

    MoK warrirors would be better off wih 2 hand weapons or a halberd.

    I would reduce the number to 12, remove the champion and Musician and change the MoK for MoN or MoS.

    I would give MoK to these guys as they will cover the sie of the warriors and will put off charges fom a great number of units.

    You can also consider a second unit like this.

    As suggested, MoK take flails only. MoS take flail and throwing Axes and maybe a musician.

    I would take another unit of Horsemen. Now if you mark both khorne you take warhounds to cover them and prevent their frenzy charge.

    Mark of Nurgle

    Reduce to 5, remove the command apart from the banner and give them a Magic Banner, a warbanner, rapturous standard or banner of rage are the most famous.

    Any spared points should be spent on Warhounds, maybe a Hellcannon, chariots etc.

    As it stands, I would blast this army apart with a Wood Elf army (or any highly mobile army for that matter).

    You need a couple of dog units, and Marauder horsemen units that you get to control.

    Also, I've noticed that not many Chaos players take lords, instead opting for the cheaper heroes (who are in most cases, equivalent to the enemy's lord level character anyway)
