Welcome to Librarium Online!
I play Warhammer since 4th edition with some breaks. Most of time I playes Wood Elfs, but since new WoC came out I thought it would be nice addition. Now I hava marauders, chaos knights and dogs led by exalted champion, and battlebox on the way. I already playtested few combinations with proxy and now came with this idea of 1,5k army. It would be easy to collect from what i have, also it can deliver some punch in magic phase that I lacked in WE.
- lvl2 sorcerer mark of Tzeentch, dispell scroll, power familiar
- lvl2 sorcerer mark of Nurgle, chaos steed, spell familiar
- exalted champion mark of Tzeentch, disc, shield, halberd, book of seecrets, golden eye of T
-24 Marauders mark of Slaanesh, Full Command, light armour, shield
-12 Warriors, shield, standard, rapturous standard
- 5 Marauder horseman, throwing axes, light armour
- 5 knights
- 5 dogs
- chariot
- 2x Spawn
That's exacly 1498 pts. General plan is to deploy marauders[MoT sorc goes here] and warriors in the middle and keep spawn for flank protection. Knights and second sorc can either wait with rest of the army or go full forward against strong shooty armies. Marauders horseman and dogs are for baiting/flanking. I'm planning to test this army on friday, so expect my report soon;] I would appreciate some comments and advices
PS. I also thought about giving knights MoS, warriors banner of wrath/rage instead rapturous but I don't know where to find points for that. I'm not sure if disc rider wouldn't bennefit better from flail than halberd. Also warriors could get moK, or MoS at least.. I morale check's on 8 LD. Cheers!
It's good for a first try or a tenth even, however; the real godly item in the WoC book is the Infernal puppet. Your Tzeentch sorcerer would scare off casting far more easily if he had that, add in pandaemonium and you're god's bane to enemy casters.
Your exalted hero is fine, you can make him a BSB if you feel you need it and you can free up some points. The rapturous standard is soo much better when you can make rerolls. Also give him a flail, for chariot breaking.
Of your units give the ones with the rapturous standard slaanesh, its so ironic to have them flee from terror. Also cut out light armor from your horsemen and give them a musician and MoS, so they can rally on 8's or 9's if they are close enough to the general.
Bon Chance as the frenchies would say.
I think it's best that you don't mix the Chaos Lores. I would choose the lore you think is the best and then give your sorcerers the appropriate mark.
