While a unit of 10 knights with a bsb is tough as nails, they are easy to avoid or get out of the way.
I would really consider making them into 2 units of 5 and have the bsb run solo or join 1.

If you can get the points, get the enchanted shield for the nurgle caster.

I would drop the champion in the DO unit, for something else the shield or more hounds or an extra mark. Slaanesh on the 10 marauders makes them much more dependable, or even great weapons. That'll make somebody think twice before engaging them.

I like your list, it's almost the same as the one I came up with for my upcoming tournament.

If you try it out, let me know how it went!

I find units of knights die very easily from shooting etc unless the terrain is to my advantage, and are unable to deal much damage once they finally get in to combat, which is why i made this one big. I don't think it'll be that easy to avoid them, especially if i take Slannesh magic, where i can move their units around a bit.

The champion in the DO unit is to keep them alive longer, they have to randomize shooting against them with the champion in there, so it may keep more models up longer for more attacks once they hit combat.

I'm not sure about the marauders, they were just there to be a cheap unit to fill that comp core and bunker the sorc.

Can you explain how that randomize works? I wasn't aware a Champion had that effect and can't find it in the rules. Thx

Champions count as characters in aspects like this, so you would randomize between the three of them when shooting at them. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

/edit and this list has been changed quite a bit, if people are still interested i'll post the most recent version.

    Definitely interested.

The concept for DO champions is, if the unit takes 4 wounds from ranged attacks before they get into combat, if only ONE of those wounds were randomized onto the champion, then you still have all your models attacking. Meaning, buying that champion might just have bought you 4 attacks instead of just 1.

Ok, now before anyone says anything about the MoS on the knights: last night i lost two units of knights to failing terror tests and being run down, so from now on its MoS for my knights.

I'm still looking for ideas though, if anyone has any thoughts feel free to fire them my way. Maybe throwing in a shaggoth with a great weapon rather than spawns and some of the upgrades?

Chaos knights cause fear so they don't take terror test. Now if they were outnumbered by a terror causer, they would have lost the combat any way. Dropping the MofS on both units and droppiing the 10 marauders gets you 10 more dogs or 60 points to play with.
