First post, just wondering what you guys thought about my 2.5k list. I'm thinking that I don't really need the Exalted and maybe put some more Inf in, since in 8th, Chaos Knights won't be quite as good, stubborn infantry and all. Maybe another small unit of Warriors with MoT and shields? The lord is basically going to go round dueling everything, if they refuse, he's still a good unit killer, the sorcerer to try and add some magic support, hopefully keep the enemy from getting any spells off, and the hero to go round in the Chosen, just adding some more firepower.
Welcome to the site mate!
Right, in the 7th and 8th you've got too many Lords. In 7th you're only allowed one Lord choice at 2500pts and in 8th you're allowed 625pts in Lords. You've got 739 which is a wee bit too much!
Chaos Lord: You can only have one choice from Magic Armour. So you can't take the Rune shield AND Armour of Morrsleib. While fairly unkilly he isn't very killy himself. I'd re-think this guy and make him a bit more choppy.
Chaos Warriors: Consider making this unit 18 strong. Six by three. The additional attacks will help you out. I'd also consider grabbing halberds too. The additional choppyness will help you out in what ever Edition you play.
Marauder Horsemen: These guys do not need a command. First off it's expensive. Secondly after they charge they'll probably die (in 8th) so ditch everything. In 7th having a banner on such a small unit is asking for trouble. If they die or flee your unit has just got a nice shiney 100Victory points for their banner.
PS: you can't post individual points for upgrades and the like. It against GW and the site rules.
