Gonna play my first 8th ed game this saturday against an empire army and this is the army i came up with.

I like your lords build a lot. Very killy and has good protection. As the rules seem to be written he doesn't get a look our sir, but make the 4+ ward will help there. You say he forms a 5x2 unit, but 7 models and him only gives 5 and then 4.
What lore are you taking with the exalted? I'd suggest shadow as its nasty at hexing your opponent, because you're guaranteed the #0 spell and that's a nice spell.
Did you mean to put sheilds on your chaos warriors with the two hand weapons? If you did and paid for them drop them cause it would be a waste of points and then do what you want with the remaining points.
Aha there is indeed one knight short in the list, there should be 7 + a champion for 8 in total. The shields are indeed intended. Since i'm going up against an empire army, the extra protection against the shooting is more than welcome. Can't afford to lose alot of models at the start since i'll be most likely be outnumbered by alot. The exalted is indeed going for the #0 shadow spell, but pit of shades or mindrazor would be nice too .
You can drop the champions. No need for that 1 extra attack. It's too expensive.

18 points is cheap for a +1 armor save against shooting/magic.
So I played my game yesterday and learned quiet a few things.
#1: The lord will be mounted on a normal chaos steed instead of the jugger in the future. The empire player had first turn and shot him right out of the knight unit without being allowed the 'Look out, Sir' rule. I'll only run him on a jugger again if i plan on using trolls/ogres.
#2 The knight will probly be split up into 2 units of 5, not quiet sure though, cause didn't have a good opportunity to test them to the fullest (some bad dice rolling saw them killing only 2 empire knights, 3 hits out of 12 attacks)
#3 The warriors of khorne with 2h weapons are murder! By the time i got into combat with these guys, there were only 7 left (i blame the mortars/final transmutation) but once in combat the mauled a 30 strong unit of spearmen in one turn without casualties back.
#4 Same for the other warrior unit (where the were only 2 out of 22 guys left + BSB and Sorc) they destroyed a 30 strong halberdier unit, a 10 man handgunner unit with BSB and a mortar. The BSB then ran down his grand marshal and captain in my final turn
#5 The miscast table is freaking nasty! Thank god i had the infernal puppet with me (didn't really help me out cause i rolled a 1 3 times)
