Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well, after seeing the other Blood Crusher list put up here, I'm wondering if there aren't way to trim the idea into something a little more useful. Here's my take on the Blood Crushers, allowing me to fit some real magic into the list, and backing them up with some serious firepower. Here goes:
Sorcerer Lord w/ Blood of Tzeentch, Enchanted Shield
Exalted Hero w/ MoK, Juggernaut, BSB, Obsidian Lodestone, Favor of the Gods
Exalted Hero w/ MoK, Juggernaut, Halberd
Exalted Hero w/ MoK, Juggernaut, Halberd
20 Warriors w/ MoK, Shields, Halberds, Standard, Musician
20 Warriors w/ Shields, Halberds, Standard, Musician
14 Chosen w/ MoT, Shields, Halberds, FC, Book of Secrets, Wailing Banner
The Juggers all go into a single regiment of course. The Sorcerer joins the Chosen, and the BSB begins the game there as well. With Favor and the Wailing Banner, the Chosen are guaranteed to have either +1 attack, or a 3+ wardsave at the start of the game. Then the BSB joins the Blood Crushers (hounds + Jugs) and uses the Charm to Shrine them as well. With the MoT on the Bookie, he casts with a total of +2 to each roll.
Do you think that this list would work in an 'Ard-boyz type setting? Or are my fears correct in thinking that the Crushers aren't going to earn back their points?
Love the concept, and I think it is rock hard. Do you think the chosen warshrine combo is worth it? If you convert them to regular MoK warriors, and drop the shrine, you may just be able pick up another hellcannon. Other than that, what I really suggest, is let us all know how the list plays out! Maybe because I would love to try it out.

Against the BloodCrusher unit, Hero Slayer sword is your worst nightmare. +4 strength and +4 attacks. Hope that the guy with the Hero Slayer doesn't challenge the Sorcerer Lord.

Yeah as MascisMan points out, the jugger unit although extremely characterful, is probably not the best use of points. You have over 600 points in a unit that has 6 wounds, 15 rider attacks, 6 jugger attacks (do they get extra for frenzy in 8th?), and a 1+ armour save. I suppose thats why you are investing in the Warshrine, to boost this unit. Just think of the number of knights that you could include for that price!
The Sorcerer doesn't join the Blood Crushers, so it'll only be +3, +3 for the sword. I would really hate to see that weapon, as well as any of the "unit killer" combos or spells. They will be put in with the Hounds however, ensuring that they can't be flanked or rear charged, and giving them some ablative wounds against shooting. I already did the math, and you could put in 16 knights of Khorne with a Standard into the list for the price of that regiment. That's what I'm thinking: it might be better to just stick in 16 knights, or spread those characters throughout the army.
As for the Chosen combo, the Terror is more of an opportunity than an actual strategy. The real money is that they are guaranteed to have either a 3+ wardsave (amazing) on the first turn, or 3 attacks each. That would be a total of 21S5 attacks coming your way if you don't flee from Terror.
Favour: I'm not sure the Hero having Favour would affect the Chosens roll. I mean the Chosens roll doesn't affect 'the chracter' so how does an Item he carries affect the unit he's with? Seems a bit odd to me. Not saying your wrong but it just doesn't seem right. You might get a few raised eyebrows and arguments if you're heading in the tourny direction with this combo
If he's in the unit when they make the roll, it will affect him until he leaves the unit. Then it ceases to work. That's how I've always understood it. Perhaps I'm wrong, and if anyone else could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to cheat, I just don't want to play nice, haha.
Well there is nothing to say you are wrong. I think Pinkus does the same but but i've never seen how it works.
The way I see it. If, say, a Warshrine cast it's gaze on the unit he could use Favour on the roll as he is A) Part of the unit and Affected by the roll.
The roll the Chosen get at the start at the game does not affect joined characters. So I really can't see how an Item the character has can affect something that isn't happening to him. I guess they'll have to FAQ it.
Anyway, the list looks solid. I'm not sure how effective the Character unit will be for it's points. I mean you could have the BSB on jugger in a unit of 10 Knights of Tzeentch with Blasted Standard for just 55pts more.
I see what you're saying, and it does seem that he wouldn't be able to use the Favor, even if he was inside the unit when they made their roll. Darn, that's not cool. Oh well- I can drop the Book of Secrets and give the champion the Favor instead.
I've been planning another list that is a bit more sensible I think. If I post it up, it will probably go into a separate thread, as this one is pretty well solidified. I just don't think that the SkullCrushers are a very competitive choice. Characterful and really cool, and certainly worthwhile to build since you're buying a box of 3 Juggernauts and a box of 5 Knights, but ultimately not your best bet in a cutthroat game.
