I wanted to see how you guys thought this would work out, I've played a few games so far and it's turned out to be pretty solid so far.
Chaos Lord 330
4+ Ward Talisman
Exalted Hero 239
Exalted Hero 165
Glaive of Putrefaction
Shields & Halberds
*3 = 792
*2 = 270
Dragon Ogres(6) 462
Musician and Standard Bearer
*2 = 120
This leaves me at 2988 with 12 points to spare.
The Dragon Ogres and Knights go down last with the warriors and marauders to hold the middle. The Lord goes hunting on anything that needs to be dealt with swiftly. Warhounds are my fodder in front of the knights and ogres, they normally hit combat and do at least some damage. Gave Marauders flails just because I had the points, normally they don't last long enough to even do much, of course I play against a shooting heavy group. The BSB sits in the middle of everything giving the reroll if needed, and my Glaive wielder looks out for the baddies that need to be hit hard, such as a local steam tank -_-
Anyways I think it's fairly solid, I've had luck with the sorcerer but he's a new add to the list, tell me how you guys think this will function.
I serve my master and do as he wants. He wants the badlands, thus they will be his.
-Shriva the Damned
Talisman of Preservation
Enchanted Shield = We must use the Warriors of Chaos price for this item per page 500 in the Main Rulebook so this is 10 points more than you calculated
Mark of Tzeentch
Disk of Tzeentch
Grand total: 340 points
Mark of Khorne
Battle Standard Bearer
War Banner = Again, we use the cost in the WoC Army Book, not the Main Rulebook so this item is 10 points less than you calculated
Grand Total: 229
Granted, the points balance out in this case, but in tournament settings especially you need to make sure your list is 100% accurate.
Note: I've seen this error on a few other lists posted here as well.
