I'm new to Warhammer gaming ( though I've been lurking around for a while...), and now I will be playing my first games ( an in-store mini-tournament, 4 games, I have no idea what armies the opponents will be fielding...)
Here's the list I'm thinking of bringing to the table:
Sorcerer Lord (shadows): 355pts
level 4,Talisman of Preservation, Charmed shield, Power Familiar, Necrotic Phylactery
Exalted Hero: 200pts
BSB, Mark of Tz, Talisman of Endurance, Shield, Sword of Might
Exalted Hero: 174pts
Mark of Tz, Disc of Tz, Golden Eye of Tz, Halberd, shield
Sorcerer (Death or Fire ): 145pts
Third Eye of Tz, Infernal Puppet
12 Chaos Warriors: 252pts
Halberd, Shield, Mark of Kh, Standard, Musician
16 Chaos Warriors: 306pts
Shield, Mark of Tz, Full Command
5 Marauder Horsemen: 81pts
Core + (my own notation): 120pts
4 x 5 Warhounds
Halberd, Shield, Mark of Kh, Full Command, Favour of the Gods
6 Chaos Knights: 330pts
Mark of Tz, Standard, Musician, Blasted Standard
Mark of Tz
Is this a viable list? I know it is a bit Character heavy, this is mostly due to the fact that I have a lot of character models, and not too many regiments...
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot for the feedback Lord Borak!! Very useful, as usual!
I don't know how I missed the double Talismans... thanks for pointing it out!
About the Chosen: The only way I see to free up the points for two more would be to drop one Knight... This would make 12 Chosen and 5 Knights...
Also, for the points saved by dropping the extra talisman, I could make the Knights Khorne instead of Tzeentch... would this be a good idea?
