Welcome to Librarium Online!
This is probably going to be my main list, just after some thoughts...
Sorc Lord - lvl 4 (Shadow), Infernal Puppet, Talisman of Preservation, Charmed Shield - 355
Exalted - MoT, BSB, Steed, Halberd, Talisman of Endurance - 195
Exalted - MoK, Jugger, Halberd, Helm of Many Eyes, Collar of Khorne- 229 (join the knights for 6x2 formation)
Festus (or nurgle sorc with power stone, on steed if points allow, one reason for this is to guarantee curse of the leper to combo with the DP if he gets the -S or -T spell, the other reason is warrior block #2)
17 Warriors - MoK, Halberds, FC - 332 (BSB goes here)
17 Warriors - MoK, AHW, FC - 332 (festus goes here making each warrior have 4 poisoned attacks)
30 Marauders - MoK, FC, GWs - 170
5 Hounds x 2
10 Knights - MoT, Musi, Std, Blasted Standard - 490
Warshrine - MoT - 150
Work calls, will post 2nd list and some more musings later

Chaos Lord - MoT, Halberd, Talisman of Preservation, Armour of Damnation, Necrotic Phylactery, Chariot with MoT
Exalted - MoT, BSB, Steed, Halberd, Talisman of Endurance
Exalted - MoK, Jugger, Halberd, Helm of Many Eyes, Dawnstone
Sorc - MoT, Level 2, Disk, Golden Eye of Tzeentch
18 Warriors - MoK, FC, Halberds, Banner of Eternal Flame
17 Warriors - MoK, FC, AHW
5 Hounds x 2
8 Knights - MoK, Musi, Std, Razor Std
Chariot - MoK
Chariot - MoK
Both lists i'm aware are pretty small, but in both i have the knights to protect 1 flank and threaten theirs, in list 1, the marauder block will hold the other, in list 2 there are enough chariots to theaten the other flank
list 1 has a lot more magic power than 2, but this is compensated for by a killy lord and the potential of mutlipe impact hits
i quite like the magic combos in list 1 and think its a more multi-dimensional list, not just 'get into combat and hit them repeatedly, in the face until they fall over'

Sorry for the late reply, missed this one!
I like the first one too. The Extra Magic power will make the game a bit more interesting for you, rather than, movement...er...combat then?
The only think I'd change is the Daemon Prince. Personally I'd rather have a Level 4 Shadow Sorcerer with the Puppet and some gear and then another Exalted Chimp. Lets face it, you're very rarely going to get your Prince into combat so all those high stats are going to waste. So you might as well get a Sorcerer and save some points. This is just me though, I just don;t think Princes are worth their Cost.
The other thing, I would seriously swap out the Razor Standard on the Knights for the Blasted Standard. 10 Knights screams SHOOT ME!!! so you could do with the extra protection. I'd also consider putting the Collar of Khorne on the Jugger Exalted. The Knights could do with the Magic protection too (Lore of Metal hurts)
yeah was wondering about the DP, I can't fit another exalted in regardless as my hero allocation is only about 10 away from cap, but it would probably let me fit in a cheap unit of marauders or horsemen as throw-aways / warmachine hunters.
so, MoK for an extra 5 attacks on the knights or MoT for that ward save
editting first post for new & improved list

Do the Knights need the extra attacks to win combat? Not really but it is nice. Personally I'd grab the Standard and Tzeentch. Those guys are going to be taking one hell of a beating from the shooting phase if your up against empire or Dawrves. Do you play many shooty armies though? Most of my opponents all use combat armies so I never really have to bother with such protection but with all rounder lists i'd take the added protection.
I'd also think about maybe some Magic resistsance too.
I hate to be a nit-picker, but your Jugger Exalted is illegal... Collar and Dawnstone are both Talismans...
in list 1, that is...
you're right, tis a typo, deleted the wrong entry.
Helm of many Eyes + Collar
