Doom Totem should be in front of the army to give most LOS (-1ld) and is in a marauder or warrior unit. Hopefully the level 4 mage should roll Doom and Darkness, so I can D&D, Totem and then Hellcannon their elite/deathstar units. This should cause a panic test at -5ld and even dwarves will have trouble passing that. Tzeentch mage for pandemonium so no using character's leadership. The level 4 has the infernal puppet to capitalise upon the extra miscasts. I just love the Khorne warriors with 4 s4 attacks each and tzeentch with 3 s5. Trolls are great, especially against heavily armoured units (puke). Marauders and warhounds for screening better units which shouldn't panic due to the Will of Chaos. Hellcannon will generally shoot but sometimes I might just charge in for fun. Any ideas or comments would be great.
The only mounted figure you have is the BSB, he can't hide!
Save the points from his mount and put him in the central warrior unit...
Was considering that but mounted gives more real LOS for banner and better AS. Furthermore, the only army I regularly fight which has war machines is HE and he should be fairly well protected from bolt throwers by MoN and screening units.
BTW armies most commonly fought are HE, skaven and VC

and 15 marauders is really not enough imo. against HE they are all death before they can even strike...
and you better keep your trolls close to your general and BSB...
i would give your 3th eye of tzeentch on your lvl 2 sorcerer
if you use it, you can't cast D&D that round
Yeah meant 2 s5 - usually give them banner of rage. Good idea about the eye. Thx 4 replying
there just doesnt seem to be enough troops in the army, you say you play skaven? A warpfire cannon thing will rip up a unit of chaos warriors, so will jezzails, poisoned wind globadiers.
Against VC the whole panic strategy goes out the window and your putting an over glorified stone thrower and small units vs an army that never dies, once the Vampire Lord reaches combat with your Lv4 he will kill him in probably 1 round of combat, i know mine would, then your magic defence is nought and he walks all over you, game is over by turn 4 if not sooner, you also have nothing to stop heavy cavalry like Dragon princes and Bloodknights?
You will still have your trolls but i wouldn bank on them doing much after your general dies:/
Sorry forgot i was being bitchy and not giving any advice, drop the trolls, theyre too unreliable esp with even with the general theyre only ld 8, merge the marauders into 1 unit with hw,shield, light armor, Mark of Tzeentch, full command.
Use any extra points after that to add to the units of warriors, having atleast 20 is preferable to make sure you actually make it to the enemy with enough models to fight, again vs high elves 30 sword masters who are 6 wide or even 21 with 7 wide will rip into that unit doing roughly 6 wounds to the khorne unit or 4 to the tzeentch if they use shields, even with 24 attacks back from khorne unit(assuming you havnt lost any at all to magic or shooting.....) your still only looking at 6 or 7 wounds back and they have more ranks and havnt lost any attacks for next turn when they finish you off :/

Fantasy : Empire, Chaos Warriors, Chaos Daemons, Vampire Counts, Beastmen, High Elves, Lizardmen( but i have opinions on every army just not the money)
40k: Black Templars, Imperial Guard, Dark Eldar, Tau (thinking of Eldar)
Against Skaven the hellcannon is perfect as a single panicked unit can run through their army inc Wep teams. With doom totem they're even more likely to run than they usually are. Against VC, I have only 1 thing to say - lore of death. Caress/Fate of Bjuna said vampire lord and the threat is gone, as well as the army crumbling. Even spirit leech could kill w/ totem. Against HE, elite units like SM are going to be panicked first and even if they reach my army they can easily be countercharged by hounds/warriors/Marauders/shrine.
