Slaanesh Lord lv4
Collar of Khorne
Third Eye (didn't use it once, always just used buboes)
Tzeentch BSB on foot
15 M.Horse (MVP?)
2 x 5 Dogs
17 chosen (cheese)
Very tough list, but I counter that with my 850 points of core and me taking slaanesh magic over shadow. But its hard to say that with a straight face, because slaanesh magic is sooo good.
Units of Note:
Hell Cannon did squat for once. Well it misfired and rolled a 6 so it killed 5 knights of the realm. Then got killed by an insane bret lord. 1 round of fighting and the HC took 8 wounds. Against Dogs of War, it ramaged turn 1 into a dragon. Killed the rider, but the dragon pwned me. Game 1 it came on as a reserve and took 4 wounds from a cannon. Then died later to an arch lector. After rolling a 1, 1, 3 for 3 rounds of thinder stomps.
M.Horse unit was solid as ever. Got charged by 30 flaggelents and actually killed them to a man over 4 rounds of combat. Against the Brets they didn't do that good, but killed some archers. But game 3, where I was #1 and playing #2. They killed so many DoW units. 18 halflings, 14 gruglugs orcs, 12 crossbowmen, a hot bot. Panicked some duelists. And ended the game with 6 guys left. Very nicely done. That's how you roll down a flank.
Chosen were ignored by all and they never killed more than they were worth, but they bunker my BSB and lv4 perfectly. There's 1000 points you won't get very easily.
Spawn did pretty good in game 3. Got a flank charge on a dragon that was owning my warriors. My warriors fled, but the spawn held strong letting the warriors get away. Noble sacrafice from the brainless monstrosity.
31 marauders with flails did good too. Flails are definitely the way to go. They weren't over powering, but it was nice having the models to sacrifice if I needed, and they pack a huge punch.
All things said I won a GIAGANTIC chocolate bunny and $105. I had 46 battle points and the bret player I drew to in game 2 had 45 points.
I barely got a draw because he charged his lord and knights of the realm into my marauders who had +1 attack from warshrine. My champion killed his (ROFLOL) and the rest of my unit did 3 wounds to kill the unit outright. The lord held, but that was enough points to force the draw.

How's slaneesh magic holding up against things like DoC, VC and DE so far, if you had the chance to test it?
Its fine. I just focus on ecstatic seizures and the frenzy spell.
And the horsemen are flankers I take it? Using vanguard move or does that depend on the opponent and setup?
The horsemen are flankers and I ALWAYS deploy them last. They aim for shooters. I'll move them an inch from an organ gun, knowing he may kill 10 of them, but I'll kill his organ next turn and consider it a good trade. You can't be afraid to take casualties with them. There are 15 of them and they don't panic, they can take a beating. Usually they run in, kill a unit or 4 and hide with 3-4 models left to deny points. I also use them to kill scouts. Vanguard toward the scouts and by turn 2 you should have them killed. Haven't really met any scouting unit that can kill my horsemen before they die, except shades with an assassin.
And the greatest thing is. At 2500 points, 15 slaanesh horsemen with LA/flail/FC + 18 tzeetch warriors w/ shield/FC/rapture comes to 1 point more than your core requirement.
Congrats for you win, Pinkus.
I'm going to a tournament in 2 weeks, and I'm thinking about going with a list based in yours. I'm going to combine your marauders and 18 Tz warriors into a 30-man horde of warriors with mark of Khorne with halberds. In my last 6 games my 18 warriors of Tzeentch only could flee as a reaction when were charged by 40 bloodletters, or 40 savage orks, or 30 white lions, or a Hellpit Abomination. Simply they can't hold things like those, and they are crushed with no mercy.
The rest of the army will be very similar, and I'm excited with the idea of using lore of Slaanesh. It looks very useful spamming ecstatic seizures.
Yeah. 12+ spell and 40 blood letters are now 20 and much easier to kill.
However, I don't know how to face Abominations, hydras, tanks, great deamons and others big threats with a list like this. Any advice?
It's for situations exactly like that that I prefer to give my Marauder horde (of 50 models) Mark of Slannesh and Great Weapons. They lose almost every round of combat, but they are steadfast FOREVER and will grind big nasties like that into the ground. If you can manage to keep your general and/or BSB nearby then so much the better.
I'm really quite intrigued about using the lore of slannesh, hadn't considered it before. Did you find the rest of it useful or really just ecstatic seizures? Also, how do you rate your warshrine? Do you see it as a must have?
