3 games new to Warhammer, I am really enjoying it so far... I'm building a WOC list for a small campaign tournament @ 800 points:
Chaos Sorc (Lore of Death), level 2, Spell Familiar @ 135 Pts
Chaos Chariot @ 120 Pts
5 Warhounds @ 30 Pts
30 Maruders, Korne, GW, Musician, Std. bearer @ 192 Pts
15 Chaos Warriors, Nurgle, HW/Shield, Halberds, Musician, Std. bearer @ 303 Pts
I have 20 points left, what should I spend it on? (I'm tossing up between Rapturous Standard for the CW's or Tzeench on the Chariot.) and what do you think of my list?
There is a house rule that the wizard can only have 1 magic item too capped at 150 pts...Opponents will be HE, Lizardmen, DE and prob. VC
Welcome to Fantasy
When they say "wizards are only allowed one Magic item" does that include Gifts? they're not magic items The 3rd eye would be pretty awesome. Stealing enemy spells is absolutely fantastic. Lore of Light on Warriors is just slightly off broken in my opinion.
If not then either the Flaming standard on the Nurgle boys or the Radiant Standard, or even the banner of Rage would be awesome.
What is the radiant standard?
Also, my high level strategy is to use the hounds to screen the Maruders and deploy the CW and Mauruders side by side. I will use the chariot to protect the most vulnerable flank and have my Sorc 12" behind both units on his own sniping and casting buffs/hexes ( using the chariot to protect any fast moving units coming down the flanks).
Do you think that is good strategy?
