ok iv almost finalized my list and need some help tweaking it so please critises it as much as possible
Sorcerer Lord (death)
Level 4, 3rd eye, stream of corruption, power scroll, magic carpet
The plan is for him to fly to the flank of the enemy as power scroll purple sun (this i think wld wrk against dwarves, ogres, lizardmen and O&G) against high elves etc i plan to steal there spells (most likley dwellers)
Exulted Hero (BS
MoT, Talisman of preservation, Favour, Flail and shield
Level 2, infernal puppet
MoN, extra hand weapon, shield, Full command, banner of rage
MoK, halberd, shield, full command, razor standard
8 knights, musician, standard, rangers standard
Iv been thinking of dropping the knights and taking 40 marauders with great weapons instead and gives me 200 points to spend for another hero, wizard or hellcannon or increasing the size of the warriors. what do you think?
u need something to redirect charges and it feels like its missing something but i cannont put my finger onit so however its a nice list
I agree with Porky that your list could use some hounds to take up deployments and to redirect charges. I also worry about the safety of your lvl 4 wizard because he has nothing in the way of equipment to help him survive. As it stands, one cannon ball, bolt, volley, etc, will be giving him a dirt nap because all he has defensively is his standard armor. I would say he should have some kind of ward save in the event of miscasts, the feedback scroll, etc.
One thing that doesn't really feel right is the 8 knights. Sure, they are awesome killers, but you have no complete ranks (unless you are planning to run them 5 and 3) I would suggest perhaps dropping them to 5 models and losing the rangers standard. I know its a good one, but I think they are too much of a points sink in this case. So just 5 knights with musician, maybe a standard and MAYBE a mark, which frees up enough points for a war shrine. If you drop the mark on the other, you then have two shrines to hold flanks, you can add a couple units of dogs to take up deployments, force out fanatics, etc, and still have a few points to do what you will
yea i am also concerned about my lvl 4 wizard however cannons etc are my only real problem as she will be deployed behind a building or a unit of something and then 1st turn fly over to the enemies flank and pop purple sun which shld do enough damage that even if a few cannons shoot at her she will have made her points back and who are the armies that have cannons etc? empire, dwarves, O&G, skaven and they have terrible Initiative
