    3k vs beastmen/ deamons

I have a 3k game againsta very good player in my local store
He will most likely bring beastmen which i hope he does as i know his list

He will have something like this

    Lords/Hero's
2/3 shamans and a great shaman
Doombull with a 1+ re-rollable save, ramhorn helm etc
    BSB with beast banner

    Core
    A giant unit of gors
    2 chariots
    lots of redirecting units

    Special
    Giant unit of minotaurs (10+)

    Rare
    maybe a cygor or something

    I was thinking of taking
    Lords/Hero's
    Sorcerer lord with shaddows
Lvl 2 tzeentch with 3rd eye
    BSB with 3+ ward
    Festus

    Core
39 warrirors with khorne, halberds and banner of discipline
38 Marauders with khorne and flails
2 units of 5 marauder cav
    1 unit of dogs

    Special
10 knights with nurgle and banner of rage

    Rare
    Shaggoth with great weapon
    Warshrine with MoT

    My Plan
I want to throw my warriors up against his minotaurs and hope they win combat
Once combat I want to get my knights into combat with his Gors which will most likely contain his shamans

My marauders will stand behind my warriors which will contain my bsb and sorcerer lord
Hopefully if my warriors do fail in killing there minotaurs they will be able to take down what is left

I will probably be unable to kill his doombull so once his minotaurs are dead i will just have to hold up untill the game is over
The only thing that might be able to kill his doombull is my shaggoth but that cld take a while and is a very big if

The marauder cav and hounds are there as redirectors and to take care of his chariots
    What do u guys think

Any tips wld be much apperciated

I like the inclusion of the Knights in this list, but I'm not sure Nurgle will do all that much for you - most Beastmen are at WS5. I wouldn't bring the Shaggoth to deal with the Cygor, to be honest with you - I think Trolls, normal Dragon Ogres, or even more Warriors can do it better (remember, he hits Warriors on 5's).

beware of parking the marauders behind your Warriors if you think they might lose the battle. If the warriors flee the Marauders have to take a panic test, if they're killed to the last man, same thing, and either way, the BSB will be gone. I suppose you could give your marauders Frenzy or Slaanesh, that might keep them around.

toss the banner of disciplin out the window and use Rapturous standard on the warriors instead. If you keep your bsb nearby they aint going anywhere.. EVER!
