this is what i got, currently 985pts, not sure where to spend the last 15 ptsLvl 2 chaos sorcerer

Looks pretty hardcore. I guess he's going in the Chosen (hence Favour). Two things though. One, your hero is only allowed 50pts worth of Magical Equipment. At the moment he has 70pts so needs to drop some. Secondly you're only allowed one item of each 'type'. This dude has two Arcane Items so he needs to drop one. I'd go for this build.......
Sorcerer, Lvl 2, MoT, 3rd eye of Tzeentch and either the Puppet or the Blood of Tzeentch.
This way he can steal the enemies spells which, more often or not, are better than the ones we're packing and still use his impressive +3 to cast. If the enemy has bum spells or ones we can't use he can fall back to his own Tzeentch ones which aren't bad. Blood of Tzeentch can boost a spell or prevent you from exploding whilst the Puppet can prevent you from exploding and help the enemy on their way.
Taking that build is 195/200pts.
At these points these guys are probably over kill. There will be very little they can get their teeth into and earn their points back on. You'd probably be better swapping them out for normal Warriors as they'll mince anything you'll come up against in 1k anyway. There's als too few of them to really make an Impact. 12 really is the minimum to unit size as as soon as you loose a few models you really notice the lost attacks in combat and you can also be ground down in combat before you wipe the enemy out or reduce them to a point where they loose steadfast.
Lastly, Magic Items are considered 'unique'. Which means one per army. So you need to drop one of your Favours.
You don't need this many warriors in a single unit. Even at 2k you don't need 24 warriors all together. 18 is a really good size as you're giving your unit a good few bodies to loose before you start loosing attacks and you're not paying through the teeth. That extra rank to make them up to a unit of 24 is costing you 96pts and all it does is give you +1 combat Resolution.
These guys 434pts too, not 370pts.
ahhh okok isee what you mean there, ok i decided to use that sorc you suggested with infernal puppet, what would you recommend the rest of the list? i was thinking maybe 2 groups of 18 warriors? any idea? i also wanna add a chaos warshrine with MoT is possible
That sounds like a pretty good list right there. You could do one unit as Halberd wielding Khornites and the others as a Tzeentchian Shield Wall. That would give you an awesome hammer and a rock hard Anvil. The Shrine can boost what ever takes your fancy.
If you have any spare points left look at some of the cheap Rule book items. The cheap banners are really good and so is the charmed shield for your sorcerer.
so my list would be something like 2 groups of 18 one MoT shields the other MoK halberds? then warshrine abit unfluffy though, khorne and tzeentch together..cos my 40k army is very khorn oriented, was looking for my WOC army to be more tzeentch like, any ideas?
You could take a MoT Warrior unit with Halberds and give them the Banner of Rage. Sorted fluffy and still super killy. A plain Tzeentch unit with halberds without Frenzy is still an awesome unit though. But go with what ever you like the sound of. You're the one who has to use the army at the end of the day

the shield would increase their amour save right? and to you think 2 groups is alot? i was thinking either that 12 men squad or i take 5 chaos knights full command and give my socr a cheap 5pt item from the BRB. what do you think?
I like the knights more for speed, but you can also consider the alternate in chaos trolls. They're almost as quick on the board as knights, have a good stat line and a nice regen save to keep them safe and sound. If your considering a 5 point item from the BRB, take charmed shield for your sorcerer, it allows him a one time chance to ignore a hit on a roll of 2+ which is extremely helpful.
That's my two cents.
list is lookin good. id drop the halberds off the 12 warrior unit. let them keep their parry save. i would definitely buy a charmed shield for the sorcerer and a favour of the gods for him as well to help with those warshrine rolls. an ironcurse icon is another cheap choice for him... but i think the other 2 are much better.
i do agree with noma on the knights/trolls issue. this list is seriously lacking some speed. even a unit of dogs would help alot. a banner of swiftness on the anvil unit would help alittle... but dropping those guys for a small unit of knights or trolls to rush in and chew stuff up is really going to save you alot of trouble, and keep the game from being a slow slog across the map until your close enough for combat.
ok i think i get what you guys mean, i'll get the favour of the dark gods for the sorc, (also if i use the warshrines' ability on a unit with the sorc, he also gets it right?)
and i wanna just confirm if i have shields and halberds i do get +1 to my amour save but no parry save?
and im gonna take out the 12 men squad, but im not sure if i should replace with dragon ogres, chaos ogres or trolls? cos the 12 men squad is 254 pts at the moment
