I'm impulsive I guess. Wanted to play my double juggy lord list this week, but made this list up last second. Played against new Chaos Dwarfs.
Chaos Lord of Tzeentch @ 625.0 Pts
Mark of Tzeentch; General;
Stream of Corruption
1 Chaos Dragon
All around badass. Flanked some warriors, 3 breath weapons later he killed 12. We played the str4 attack counted as flaming since it says its a fire attack. Meaning he gets a 5+ ward Then on last turn charged his lv4 and smooshed him into the ground.
Chaos Sorcerer of Tzeentch @ 220.0 Pts
Mark of Tzeentch; Magic Level 2;
Golden Eye of Tzeentch
1 Disc of Tzeentch
Only guy that could roll decent from both sides of the table. Blood Curdling roar was off the hook. I rolled 10-11-12 shots in consecutive shooting phases. Gateway did 7 str 10 attacks on his earth shaker to take him out too. He also rear charged into a vital combat. Couldn't kill a thing, but the +3 static rez that gave was enough. Overall success. But Chaos Dwarf lore is nasty and having only +2 to dispel hurt a lot. The one spell is dumb, it does everything you ever need from 1 spell. -2 to shooting, -1 to hit, can't march or charge, can't use flight movement and you become flamable. Yes, that's all 1 spell and its not even their #6. Nothing like a template hitting a model and it taking a T test at -3 toughness or just die, with no misfire chance.
Exalted Hero of Tzeentch @ 194.0 Pts
Mark of Tzeentch; Halberd; Chaos Armour; Battle Standard
Talisman of Preservation
Horrible show from usually my bets character. He got wounded 3 times and failed all 3 3+ wards to just die.
15 Marauder Horsemen of Slaanesh @ 280.0 Pts
Mark of Slaanesh; Flail; Light Armour; Standard; Musician
Had that dumb spell on them half the game so they couldn't march or charge. Finally got into flank of 24 blunderbusses and then got flank charged by 20 warriors that then got flank charged by my dragon. Yeah we had 1 gigantic melee. Started with shaggy/drogres/24blunders(who stood and shot 5 wounds off my shaggy and then later he remembered that with 20+ models he should reroll to wounds, which he didnt, so most likely the shaggy would have just fallen over)/and my horsemen. Later on his warriors charge in and then my dragon, then my disc sorc then his wizard. Horsemen died to a man, they held on a 6+ when my drogre/shaggy ran, which ultimately saved both of them since noone could pursue. Only things to survive that were 3 drogres/dragon/disc. Overall another solid performance.
19 Chaos Warriors of Tzeentch @ 369.0 Pts
Mark of Tzeentch; Shield; Standard; Musician
Banner of Swiftness
Didn't see much combat. He had this ridiculous monster that does something like 6+d3 str7 attacks, with auto str4 hit on all B2B models with a 4+ ward 2+vs fire. Disc rider put 2 wounds on it before it charged my warriors/BSB. I was losing combat hard when my shaggy #2 hit its flank and got 2 wounds through to kill it off. Lucky for me. That thing is wrong. It has so many special rules. Screw that. Oh and if you don't use magic weapons you're -1 to wound the thing.
Dragon Ogre Shaggoth @ 275.0 Pts
Dragon Ogre Shaggoth @ 275.0 Pts
#1 charged front of blunderbuses and took 5 wounds, but then over 3 rounds of combat dished out a ton more. Ultimately it fled because of a warrior flank charge, but it rallied and then got a earth shaker shot on the head to end his day.
#2 Flank charged big badass monster and got 2 wounds through to save my warriors. Then it got charged by 20 warriors and BSB. Remember their warriors are base str4/T4. Over several rounds of combat I took 4 wounds and killed all 20 warriors and then was able to thunderstomp the BSB into the ground. I'm sorry, 6 ws6 str6 attacks at int4 with thunderstomp with 6 wounds and a 4+ armor save is great. I thought when they made him str6 instead of 5 and 4+ armor instead of 3+ was bad, because I missed the armor, but now with thunderstomp, this guy is nasty!@
4 Dragon Ogres
Nothing special. Swiftstride sure is nice though. Got into front of their blunderbusses and got -str nerfed alot. Mostly used speed to get into combats that needed help. Too expensive really, but I wouldn't ever say they are not worth it, specially i a speed list like this.
Other key items. Both his rocketbattery and earth shaker misfired once and his mount for his lord who is a lv2 shadow (yeah a flying monster that is a lv2 shadow wizard) miscasted and sucked itself into the warp. His earthshaker hits 5 warriors, 1 at str10, I make 4 5+ armor saves and his str10 failed to wound.
Bottom of turn 6 he only had 1 model left from his blunderbusses. My sorc on disc charge it, the rider fails to wound, but the disc does wound. He fails his 3+ armor save, but since it is a flaming attack he gets a 5+ ward, which he passes to end the game with 1 model left.
Overall Chaos Dwarf new book is nasty, but manageable. Dice were all over the place this game, but basic troops getting a 3+ armor str4 and T4 is nasty (so says the woc player).

Hmmm, nice. I like this list quite a bit to be honest. However, I'm a surprised that the Shaggies did so well - mine are usually getting minced by magic early in the game, or shot out by enemy missiles. Same goes for the Dragon and Discs - it's a lot of the reason that I don't like to field independent models - a single spell can cause D6 S6 hits and wreck your day.
What would you think about swapping your BSB and Warriors regiment for Throgg and some Trolls? It keeps with the theme, and doesn't lose you much. Plus, Trolls are pretty awesome. Then again, you're sort of relying on the ranks from those Warriors to help you out with Steadfast in combats.
I never play SCs, so that would be out. The problem (or advantage) this list has, is that the shaggies/dragon/disc/horse are so fast and hit so hard that they're in your face on turn 2 and take any of them out, with the exception of the dragon, and the army still can rip your face off.
If I was trying to make a nastier army the changes are simple. Drogres get dropped for 5 chaos knights. MAYBE drop a shaggy for a HC and 2x5 dogs.
Are shaggies overpriced at 275 (w/ xhw that is). Possibly, but not by much. 250 feels more reasonable. But that doesn't make the guy any less nastier if you can get him into combat.

As usual, the best part about the game was when my lord on a dragon kills his lv4 in a challenge and rolls MR3 for his EotGs roll. Pretty typical.
Awesome... Seems like chaos stunties and empire, both due to their artillery, would be the greatest threats to your list... I've considered a monster list of kholek, throgg, 2xShaggy, 25% marauders, and then fill up with trolls and, at larger levels, maybe some drogers... Thing about being afraid of cannons is that cannons make mincemeat of one monster, and can sometimes handle a second one, but when you start fielding 3+ cannon targets, they're not going to live long enough to kill off your monsters.
