I would be tempted to keep the Lord out of the chariot and put him in with the knights. At the moment one well aimed cannon ball will rid his transportation to pieces!!!!!

Then you can put your exhalted champion on foot in a unit of chaos warriors. I would suggest changing the unit with Halberds to the chosen ones and put the exhalted champion in there. It should make that unit have greater sticking power!!!

With the spare points I would suggest a small unit of marauder horsemen and a unit of marauders with flails to charge into peoples fronts and wound befor your bulky units get there.
