Experimental "Fast Attack" 1.5K Archaon's Horde

    Hello All,

Below is an experimental "Fast Attack" 1.5K Archaon's Horde List. I normally play (unfortunately) a very shooty Skaven army. Suggestions are very welcome as I am unsure that I will even field this army. Note that I do not want to do an all cavalary list, as I do not have the models to do this.

    Heroes:
    Exalted Champion
    -Chaos Steed
    -Shield
    -Gaze of the Gods

    Sorceror
    -Dispell Scroll x2

    Core:
    Warhounds x20

    Marauder Horsemen x5
    -Musician
    -Standard
    -Shields
    -Throwing Axes

    Warriors x20
    -Free FC
    -Shields

    Chariot

    Special:
    Chosen Knights x5
    -FC
    -War Banner

    Flayerkin x8

    Rare:
    Spawn x2
    -MoS

Now I know that the warriors aren't fast, but I thought they could slug up the battle field and punch a hole in the middle of the enemy forces while the rest of my army attacks the flanks. Does anyone think I should trade them out for 2 units of 25 marauders with shields?

If any cares, seeing that no one posted any replies, this army was great!! I would definitely suggest a list similiar to take care of "shooty" armies. I flattened the "flithy rats" I play against.

Sorry but I'm unfamiliar with what "SAD" means. What does it mean?

SAD can mean several things, usually:

Shooting Army of Death or Shooting Army of Doom. (ie. a gunline from just about whatever army capable of forming one. Most commonly seen in Skaven, Empire and Dwarf armies)

    Skryre Shooting Army of Doom/Death
This is the generic Skaven gunline, commonly held as one of the most broken things to exist in all of Warhammer. Games tend to consist of rat player rolling dice and declaring the winner (ie. whose army the rats' warpstone weapons and magic blew up. Usually the opponent, but sometimes the rats)

    Skink Army of Doom/Death.
A Lizardmen army that consists mainly of a huge horde of Skinks. There's little chance of the opponent ever eliminating numerous units of Movement 6 Aquatic Skirmishers, so the Skinks can just run rings around the opponent and pelt them with poisoned javelins/darts/arrows.
This is, by nature, a nonengagement army and not much fun to play against.

    More questions?
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
    Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
    Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
