    As you can see I'm a bit shy off 3,000 (431 points shy) and I was wondering what I should add in? The list looks as if it has some flexablity, and good hitting+staying power.

    Any suggestion on the character combos/etc? What should I add in/take out?

    For heroes, I'd drop the Talisman of Protection first of all, it only has a chance of doing anything 1 in 3 games. And the second champion costs 187, not 177.

    I won't comment on the chosen upgrade for the knights. It's your choice, but keep in mind that if a single Goblin Bolt kills even one of them, it'll have done 45 points of damage, this coming from a 35 point weapon.

    You might not want to take MoK on the Chariot. A decent player can wreck it good in terrain.

    If you want things to add, I'd take something big, like another chaos lord (don't know about this one), a giant, a shaagoth, a hellcannon, something like that. I'd do that because you've got lots of troops, and it would be better to get something nasty when you've already got the numbers. You might also want to add to the killing power of your general, with an axe of khorne or sword of striking. Spending that many points to protect him, he might as well do some damage. And maybe an enchanted shield, if you've got 10 points and nothing else to spend them on.
