what about this chaos list against 1650 of skaven?
chaos sorcerer lv2 (UNDIVIDED) (GENERAL)
aspiring champion of chaos (TZEENTCH) + spell familiar + barded steed
aspiring champion of chaos (TZEENTCH) + barded steed
3x 4knights of chaos (KHORNE)
2x chariot of chaos (TZEENTCH)
2x 5marauder horsemen with flails + musician
my general will be close to the chariots or some terrain that will block LoS of it from shooting units cuz of his low movement
my chariots will support to my khorne units which should have more staying power then de tzeentch ones
the marauder horsemen and warhounds will support the knights as well as charge weakened units
and my 2 tzeentch champs will weaken there shooting power and if possible the others as well
I like the strategy and it's a fair list, but I have one suggestion: Put the general on a horse, or he'll lag behind the whole army (worse yet, they'll slow up to wait).
what about putting the sorc general into a chariot?
i don't have the points to give him a barded steed
the rest should be reasonable against a 1650 skaven list?
i don't really know what to expect though...
Not sure if the General would be able to ride in the Tzeentch chariot.
I'm not familiar with Skaven either but I think you should expect big blocks and nasty shooting.
Nice idea, though losing 1 knight from those blocks severely drops their strike power.

When I say jump you don't ask me 'How high?' maggot! You jump!
If you friend takes jezzails (cheese) then you could be in a lot of trouble with this list. Skaven don't actually have low movement, some of them are quite fast, and if your knights get bogged down in combat against slaves and the sort, it might take a long time to get out...
Apart from that, its a good list

I don't think the general can ride in the chariot unless it loses the mark. So you'd have to drop that. Make sure you combine charges against infantry units, or you won't be able to win combat.
Yeah a bit key to defeating skaven in combat is to remove their rank bonuses. Skaven ranks also affect their leadership, and so negating these is sort of a double-whammy on combat res.
