Welcome to Librarium Online!
This army list has been lured to the correct forum by titillating illusions of Slaanesh. Please don't post costs/model, this infringes on GW copyright. Thanks!
Ok so i will start off by saying Hi :w00t:
I am kinda new to chaos, but have gone and bought myself, a box of marauders and the HoC Army boook.
I have chosen to theme my amry around the god of Pleasure... Slaanesh, due to the want of fine magic and a beautiful colour scheme lol.
First of all i have a couple requests/questions:
1. I was just wondering if anyone had any photos of their finished slaanesh army?
2. I was thinking of going for a rocky, slightly grassy, snowy themed bases and i was just wondering peoples opinions on this and also any good pictures.
So anyway Here is my list:
Lvl2, MoS, Power familiar
Lvl2, Spell familiar, Power stone
HW, LA, Shield, Full command
Flails, LA, Shield, musician, chieftain
12 chosen warriors
chosen, MoS, additional hand weapon, shields
MoS, HW, Shield, Full command
5 chosen knights
champion, chosen, MoS
9 furies (These are going to be modelled off DE Harpies)
Power dice: 7 (+2)
Dispell dice: 5
So plz post up what u think, and any advice.

well first off let me start by saying welcome. Now let me get right to business. Here are some real helpful hints to better yourself in becoming a fine slaanesh player.
By looking at your list, I see that you have purchase champions for your knights and warriors. Please don't do this. Champions for knights and warriors cost too many points for just one extra attack. With the points saved, give your chosen knights the rapturous banner. This banner, in my opinion, is the most broken banner in for chaos, if not the whole game itself. Other than that, I like your list, though you should strengthen your marauders and purchase some more models for each unit. I say two units of 23 marauders, have your characters on steeds and put them in the marauders unit. and maybe buy some marauder horsemen and daemonettes. I suggest you take two units of 23 with hand weapond and shield and a flanking unit of maybe 15 marauders with flails.
Another thing is that you should try to restrain from doing is putting characters in units of warriors or knights(except in some cases which I'll list down below) because they are good enough on their own as it is. Never give chaos anything great weapons. One of the many benefits in taking chaos, especially slaanesh, is the high initiative. You should always try to capitilize on this, and arm them with anything but great weapons, which most beginners tend to do. Try to put a champion in the unit of knights with the rupturous banner. With a hero in that unit, it will be almost impossible to beat them. And if you really want your opponent to cry, then make that champion an aspiring champion, make him a b.s.b, and give him the war banner, just to make him weep.
You should aslo tend to look at some of the units that the beasts of chaos book has to offer as well. I always take a beast herd in any of my lists. They are good for mobility and support(like flanking charges, etc.). Spawns are best when they have that extra D6 movement, so use them well, like holding up some crap unit or maybe even take out a war machine if your lucky. Speaking of war machines, your furies should always take a few out.
Just know that playing as chaos you will encounter inevitabl;e shooting, so it should be by your duty to avoid that. Warhounds make for perfect screens against shooting. You should always put one in front of each unit of warriors you have.
I'd combine your warriors into 1 unit of chosen, 15-20 strong. 2 units is just paying for the mark and command twice, and without multiple attacks I wouldn't field chaos warriors at all.
You could drop your furies down to 6 and field a unit of warhounds for additional screening.
Welcome to LO, hope you like it here!
