I am gearing up for the nemesis crown campaign and am starting a brand new chaos army.
Standard point size for battles at my local club sit at 750 points thus, as i am restricted to such a small amount of points i haven't bothered to add in any marks etc.
750 Points List
Aspiring Champion (joins warriors)
14 Warriors of Chaos
- full command
5 Knights of Chaos
- Standard Bearer
Chariot of Chaos
5 Marauder Horsemen
- Throwing Axes
Total Points = 743
The list is (i thought) fairly compact as i refuse to use basic marauders, i just find them to tacky and weak, as well as being more or less balanced.
Any thoughts as to tactics and/or changes would be appreciated.
NOTE: I play quite frequently against a skaven player that utilizes large amounts of jezzails and poisoned wind globadiers OR against a Brettonian army that (unsurprisingly) uses nothing but knights,
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares, your a mile away and you have his shoes!!
Chuck Norris invented water
I'd be tempted to replace the horsemen with a few units of warhounds. Give you more screening, disposable troops, and speed in the army. At this point level, your opponent might also have to deploy most of his useful units before you do after placing your hounds.
Arena of Death Champion: Nexim of the Guldskullz Tribe. Fear my wrath!
Or alternativly if your playing a ranged skaven palyer,
try skinning down/ getting rid of some units and use a beast herd instead
What is the chariot for?,
as you've got horsemen and Knights for flanking (unless your using them for something else), so you could get rid of them
