Well now that I've almost totally sold myself on doing all Khorne, I'm now at a delima. I keep thinking that I'm sacrificing staying power, as in infantry blocks for hard hitting units with speed. I have a tourney list prepared that I will be hopefully using in 2 weeks. Perhaps you all could take a look at it and point out any weaknesses in it?

Exalted of Khorne ~ Shield, GW, Helm of Many Eyes You're gonna be sad when your lord fails his stupidity test at the critical moment. At LD8 it'll happen all the time... Wargor of Khorn ~ Heavy Armor, Shield, Great Fang at S4 this guy needs a weapon that increases his strength, not his ability to penetrate armor. Check out the math and you'll see what I mean. Incidentally, you could make this guy your battle standard bearer. For that matter you could give him the Vitriolic Totem and give your beast herd a little extra punch... 16 Khorne Warriors ~ Shield, HW, Full Command, Vitriolic Totem This standard is only legal in beasts of chaos units. Mortals cannot use it. 7 Warhounds 4 Knights of Khorne ~ Music, Champ These guys need standard bearers 4 Knights of Khorne ~ Music, Champ These guys should also have a standard 4 Chaos Ogres ~ Shield, Heavy Armor, Great Weps, Music 8 Furies 8/8 Beast Herd ~ Full Command 8 Flesh Hounds 4 Dragon Ogres ~ Light Armor, Great Weps. Your units of 8 and 16 are strange to me. You need ranks 5 wide to get rank bonus in 7th edition, so it is usual to see multiples of 5. And you usually can't get more than 6-7 models in combat, so your 8-wide flesh hounds confuse me.
Karnak is spot on with most of his advice, especially the helm of many eyes on the general.
The rest of your army is so fast I'm afraid the warriors will slow you down. you might consider replacing them with more knights, or even some marauder horsemen to help with march-blocking and charge-baiting the enemy.

You're right about the Helm on the Khorne General, and I thought it would be strange too, before I actually started using him in my Warriors. The Warrior unit, with my first strike hero, serves as a very capable anvil unit, that can dish out a lot of punishment when enemy units attack it. Using effective charge traps, this unit, teamed with the Chaos Ogres, has done more than its fair share of carnage. As for going Stupid, that really doesn't concern me much, since its a slow unit anyway, and will mostly be bringing up the rear of my battle line. I have plenty of other units such as my Knights, Dragon Ogres, etc to take the fight to the enemy. I did error with the Totem, so I'll be switching that to just a Warbanner...thanks for noticing that :yes:
As for your puzzlement about the units of 8, well, I'm kind of a stickler for fluff, so since 8 is the chosen number for Khorne, I try to appease the God of Blood as much as I can...my dice rolls depend on it :w00t:.
