While reading the latest White Dwarf I was very surprised to read the following in a little box at the side of the feature on the new Deamon book release:So, looks like the current Hordes of Chaos book is no longer valid.Originally Posted by UK WD341, page 21
With the UK doubles tournament in 2 months it's going to be touch and go if the list in the next WD will meet the requirements that an army list be released for at least a month to be legal in the tournament. If it isn't, does that mean no Hordes of Chaos at this years doubles?

The WD update in June will be a legal temporary list. The new HoC book will be released in August i think, if not November.
and GW screwed something up again:drinking:. ah well looks like i am going to wait till november then to start my horde. as a side note does anyone one no whether mixing units will still be alowwed in the future.
i wasted my whole life on warhammer so it's a good thing i have 2 wounds and a 2+invul
Going by DoC, probably not.
Yeah, but Daemonic legions couldn't mix units before, either so its not really an good indicator to go by. I say wait until the book comes out and see. Current rumors say that there's an item that lets you use deamons and/or beasts.

Judging by this new daemonic legion book, they are now their own army. Though I guess we will have to wait and see with the new HoC book says about mixing daemons and mortals.
