Wish I could take credit for this list but it was actually one I ran up against this weekend at a tourney.
The basic mechanics were Slannesh marked units and the Banner of the Gods. Units that get charged pin everything in place and other units can then counter charge. The reason it worked sooo well is that in the WD list the BoG's stubborn range was increased to 12".
the problem with it is the BSB is very squishy with 150 points worth of goodness in a 4+AS and T4 2W
or in other words he is only just better off than a marauder with and weapon and shield and 33 times the price.

Yeah I've so far not had much luck in putting BSB chars in my chaos army. In my dark elf army, I've often put a BSB nobel in a chariot with the warbanner for all sorts of hilarious shenanigans. Doubt it would work for chaos simply due to price t.t;;
The banner of the gods certainly is an interesting idea. As much as I dislike the current temp list, I might try it in the near future.
[...] So I burst into his office and exclaimed, quite frankly, "That's Numberwang." As I recall it, he cried.
agreed in theory but i found i kept finding these big flying creatures dropping behind my lines.
I use spawn to try to sweep my lines clear but large creatures can see everything...
Give him a bunker of warriors and his cost just to keep him alive increases even more
So in short great in theory but a very expensive trick thats fairly easy to squish
He wouldn't be that squishy since you could give him a 1+ AS (mounted, shield and chaos armour) and deploy him in a big unit of marauders, with a unit of 10 or so more about an inch in front, meaning that even if units could see him they would have to get through the unit infront of him, which wouldn't be easy to get through with stubborn and re-rolls.
